Chapter 17 ( Double trouble)

"Something is wrong " A man with long spiky white hair tied into a ponytail said to his three students.

There were in a boat and were headed to Konoha, in the land of fire from the land of water. One of his two male disciples with blonde hair looked at his teacher intently while wondering what his teacher may be talking about. The other male and female black haired students didn't seem to be paying attention to the white haired man.

"After dealing with those mist ninja some reinforcements should have confronted us before we left the land of water but we escaped without further conflict." Continued Jiraiya.

"Maybe they too lazy to chase us or afraid of the mighty me" the Jonin joked but none of his students reacted so he just kept quiet.

They did not know that their sensei's intuition was on spot and they ignored him.

Back in Konoha, the Hokage Sarutobi was sitting in his chair smoking his pipe as usual. He was wondering how his students mission was going. He was completely relaxed knowing that at any moment the war could start and he wouldn't have time to rest.

He sensed a ninja approaching his office swiftly.

"Hokage-sama we just got news that Mizugakure, Kumogakure and Iwagakure teamed up to do a surprise attack on Uzushiogakure yesterday at night and Uzushiogakure was wiped out by today early in the morning!!!" the panting ninja said to Hiruzen.

Hiruzen did not know how to react. Their biggest allies have been destroyed overnight. He then immediately summoned some chunin and Jonin. He was going to send them to the land of Whirlpools to see if there was any survivors and to see the extend of destruction that had been done to Uzushiogakure.

As he went to the gathering point of the summoned ninja, another ninja appeared before him.

"Hokage-sama Sunagakure, Iwagakure and Kirigakure have declared war on the land of fire and each other." He said

Hiruzen then knew that his days of relaxation were over now he will be followed by days of anxiety and stress.

'Why can't villages co-exist without war' he thought as he sighed and immediately returned to his office ignoring the ninja he had summoned.
