Stella, a seemingly average girl with a remarkable resemblance to a certain tomboy anime girl, dies during an attack on her school protecting her class. However, instead of seeing the pearly gates, she finds herself on trial for crimes committed against the gods in a past life. The verdict is not what she expected...
It was July 12 XXXX, Izuku's twelfth birthday, for any normal family this would be a happy day with cake, presents, friends, and family singing happy birthday to the special person who was born on this day. But for the Midoriya household, it was only a reminder of the precious little girl they lost. Izuki Midoriya older twin sister of Izuku Midoriya by five minutes. It was 6 years ago when the villain attack that took her happened.
It was like any other day for the young trio of Izuki, Izuku, and Katsuki. Izuku and Katsuki went deep into the woods to train their quirks and Izuki tagged along to make sure the two didn't get hurt and heal them if they did. Izuki's quirk, limited matter manipulation, allowed her to potentially manipulate her body down to sub-atomic levels. It was a powerful quirk with endless potential, but right now the cellular level was the best she could do when pushing herself.
Izuku quirk, Flashlight Hands, could dimly light up a dark room and didn't improve no matter how hard he trained it. This led to being bullied in school by other kids. He had to deal with kids calling his quirk trash and handicapped. They used to get physical with him but learned quickly to stick with words when they got the beatdown of their life from Izuki and Katsuki or more famously known as the delinquent duo at Aldera Junior High.
(A/N: Think of it as a preschool and a middle school in one)
Even with all the bulling and the stagnation of his quirk's development, it was Izuku's dream to become a hero even if not a very famous one. So he did his best to train his quirk and did light exercises to keep in shape but not stunt his growth.
It was around three in the afternoon when the incident happened. It was also around this time that Izuki split from the group to do her own thing. Feeling the need to go, Izuki got and walked a couple of steps before shouting to alerting the boys that she was going off on her own. "Hey guys, I'm gonna go water some flowers."
"Ok sis, be careful," Izuku shouted back to his twin. He promptly went back to training his quirk.
"Water flowers, what do you need to do that for?" Katsuki asked not catching the meaning behind her words.
Closing the distance between them fast, Izuki grabbed both sides of Katsuki's face and pulled his head down till they were face to face causing Bakugo to blush heavily.
"Kaachan, you shouldn't ask a lady that idiot." Izuki pushed Bakugo onto his butt and walked away and out of sight.
Bakugo wanted to yell at her for calling him an idiot but his mind was too busy thinking about how beautiful her green eyes were and how close he was to her face. His thoughts made him blush even harder, turning his face completely red.
Looking away from his training, Izuku saw mount Katsuki about to blow. Figuring that it was his sister's doing, he burst out laughing while pointing at Bakugo.
In a fit of embarrassment and rage, Katsuki started chasing the laughing Izuku deeper and deeper into the woods letting out mini-explosions while he chased Izuku. It wasn't until a solid 10 minutes of chasing did he stop and realize they were deeper in the woods than they have ever been. Which was the equivalent of saying they were lost and therefore fucked when Izuki finds them and scolds them for running off. And by scold he meat beat the snot out of them while screaming at them for leaving her.
"Hey Izuku, we should start heading back before Izuki finds ou-"
"Look what I found all the way out here," A coarse voice said from behind the bushes."Here I thought after killing the hag I would have to end my fun for the day."
Both boys turned to look where the voice came from and saw a massive man standing at 200 cm with ash blonde hair and black eyes wearing a psychotic smile and blood around his face and hands. Izuku and Bakugo knew he was bad news but both had opposing ways they wanted to confront the situation.
Izuku recognized this villain from the news, Imasuji Gōto, aka Muscular. The villain was famous for lots of gruesome murders and his immense strength which more than a few heroes have been victim to. So to say Izuku was scared would be an understatement, he was downright pants-shitting terrified. But the same couldn't be said for the young Bakugo. All his life he and his quirk have been hyped up by everyone, be it from family, schoolmates, teachers, and even the principal. The only exception to this was his friends, Izuku and Izuki Midoriya who didn't put him on a pedestal and feed his hype.
At first, he tried to bully them when they didn't give him the attention or the praise he wanted but after many, 𝙢𝙖𝙣𝙮 fights with the twin sister and brother, mostly Izuki, he gained respect for them and eventually approached them with the intent to be friends. This however didn't stop him from developing an ego large enough to eclipse the sun. While he usually didn't show it to his friends it was there at all time and ready to rear its head when the opportunity to flex came.
Muscular began approaching menacingly not bothering to hide his intent to kill from what he considered to easy prey. The feeling of dread loomed heavily on Izuku's shoulders freezing him stiff but slid right off the arrogant Bakugo.
"Oi you shitty villain, I don't know what hole you crawled out of but as a hero of justice I'll put you down and drag you to cops, and then everyone will know the name of the great Katsuki Bakugo!"After his declaration, Bakugo launched forward a let of the biggest explosion he could muster point-blank in muscular's face, it tore up the dirt and damaged a few trees leaving a lingering dust cloud. "Hahaha, that ought to show you who's boss ya bastard."
"Kaachan, are you ok," Izuku asked running to his best friend's position.
Of course, I am, didn't you see me blow up that villi-" the backhand of a left arm found the Bakugo's right cheek before he could finish his gloating.
"𝐎𝐰, that hurt dammit," a deep voice said from the now dissipated smoke, his face showing a slight burn from Bakugos attack. "That kid has spirit, it's gonna be fun to crush it."
Making his way to the now downed Bakugo while completely ignoring the shaking Izuku he realizes that the Bakugo isn't moving. "Is that all you got brat? Isn't the great hero, Bakugo, supposed to take me down." Muscular yelled hoping to rile up the youth. It would've worked too if Bakugo wasn't unconscious.
"Tch, disappointing," he said standing over the downed youth. Going in for the kill, he cocked his fist back and enhanced it with his quirk in hopes of seeing a gory explosion of blood and guts when the hit landed.
While this was happening, Izuku was once again frozen stiff from fear. Muscular's killing intent made it difficult for him to breathe much less move. But move he would because he wanted to be a hero, and he wanted to save people and hero couldn't be held down by fear. So he ran towards the villain about to kill his best friend cocked back his own fist and screamed: "LEAVE KAACHAN ALONE!"
Muscular, who completely forgot about the third party, was taken by surprise and without looking swung the fist meant for Bakugo right at Izuku. Izuku who was no slouch in a brawl thanks to his sister, tried to doge by leaning left of his fist and was partially successful. Since Muscular was very tall and he was very short, not to mention the surprise factor that caused the villain to aim to be off and it was no wonder that the kid had managed to react.
However, it wasn't good enough. Part of the attack still landed and because of the Muscular's overwhelming strength, the right side of Izuku's face and skull shattered and sprayed out in a gory pieces of flesh, blood, and bone.
In an instant, Izuku was blind in the right eye and was screaming from the pain while holding his partially gone face in tiny bloody hands. Muscular watched the screaming boy with a sadistic smile on his face, reveling in the pain and misery of the young boy. While the surprise was sudden it wasn't the least bit unpleasant to him.
The screaming didn't last long though, the pain, fear and blood loos caught up to the young boy in quickly, and in seconds, Izuku went into shock and died.
"Huh, is that it," Muscular asked no one in particular while kicking Izuku's corpse, its last expression one of fear and pain, tears streaking the boys eyes. "So disappointing, I wanted to hear your scream more."
"You scream bitch" came the shrilly voice of young girl behind him. Her voice, just like the boys was filled with pain, but of a different kind, Sorrow. Yet it was also mixed with rage.
Muscular turned around and saw a young girl, identical in features and height to the boy he killed only with a more feminine face twisted into a rictus of grief and rage and long hair that seemed to defy gravity by standing stiff and upright behind her. They were twins he realized with a satisfied smirk.
She stood there, near the edge of the clearing, with a ball of yellow electricity covering her right hand, probably her quirk. But what set her apart from the brother, what made killer smile even wider with manic glee, was the bloodlust she was emitting. It was nothing to scoff at, potent and radiating from her like the stench of death.
It genuinely surprised Muscular that such a young girl could have so much killing intent but that just made the brat more interesting to him, a more worthy kill than any life he'd taken in a while. The surprise didn't end there though because in a literal blink she was gone and the most horrendous pain filled his left eye.
"Ahhh!" He wailed like a man possessed, part of his vision going dark as he cupped his hands around his eye. Blood pooled between his finger, dripping to the grass as he slowly pieced together what had happened. "You little bitch, you hurt my eye! I'll FUCKING KILL YOU!" He roared, quirk breaking his skin apart and layering his body in thick weaves of muscle while looking for the only person around who could've attacked him but he only saw the dead and the downed brat.
"You'll die trying" came Izuki's voice from behind him.
Muscular didn't waist time, with a quick 180, he wildly swung his bulky body around to to get a visual on the young girl but when he saw her, instead of immediately turning her into a bloody paste, he froze in shock.
In her hand, a black-eyed eyeball with the stem still attached was held with what could be mistaken for gentleness in her small hands. The realization of who's eyeball she was holding came to him just as fast as Izuku blitzed him. "Dam brat you'll pa-, Argghhhhhh".
Izuki didn't care what this scum had to say, mid threat, she had disappeared and reappeared but this time right in front of him, placing her small hand on his stomach, or where it would be if it wasn't covered in bundles of the muscle fibbers, and delivered a powerful shock that had muscular screaming bloody murder.
She could have put him to sleep or trapped him in his own body with paralysis, but Izuki wanted him suffer. So using her quirk, she didn't just pour amplified bioelectricity from herself into him but flooded his entire nervous system with pain. Heart, brain, lungs, pancreas, all of it sang with agony unimaginable. Izuki was sure, that if Muscular was anything more than a vegetable after this, the villain would never feel a greater pain in for the rest of his life.
In the moments before she could feel Muscular about to flatline, Izuki let up her assault, not out of mercy but out of hesitation to take that final step and become a killer.
His body fried and his mind gone from the pain, the villain wobbled on his feet, the uneven bulk of his body tilting him over and nearly making him fall back and crash onto her brother. In the spur of the moment, Izuki enhanced her own body, muscles in her right arm and feet bulging like balloons right before she punched the villain hard enough to send him flying to the edge of the clearing, trailing the sent of burnt meat. Whether he survived was not her concern, her brother was.
Without a second thought, Izuki rushed over to Izuku, and checked his pulse and to her immense sadness, it was as she feared, as she knew the moment she saw his face. Her brother, her other half, Izuku Midoriya, was dead.
She wanted to cry, to break down and rage, to beat that fucking villain to death until his face wasn't recognizable, but she couldn't, not yet at least. She had a friend to check on.
She checked on Bakugo and found out his jaw was broken and dislocated but other than that he was fine. Focusing her matter manipulation quirk, she mended his broken bones and snapped his jaw back in place. It would be sore for a day or two but he would be fine.
Even though she healed him he wasn't getting up so he probably suffered a concussion. She wasn't going to attempt to heal that since messing with brains was dangerous and should only be done as a last resort. Human ones were much more complex than the bugs and spiders she was used to messing with but just as sensitive to change, especially with hands as inexperienced as her.
With Bakugo's healing done, she turned her attention back to her other half. His body was battered and broken from Muscular's kicks and part of his face was blown off. The tears she held back finally came free on her own and she cried over her brother body.
'How could I let this happen? If only I found them sooner. If only I didn't leave them by themselves then none of this would have happened.' These were the thought that plagued Izuki's young mind. A constant spiral of self blame for an incident she could neither predict or control. But it was that same desperation, that same self blame, that would change Izuku's fate.
"I have to make this right! I'll bring you back even if it kills me Izuku!" With this declaration, she placed her hands on Izuku's body and began repairing it. Bones went back into place, muscle restitched itself and skin joined back together, and once again Izuku Midoriya was whole. Externally at least.
The problem was that not only was Izuku still dead but Izuki was starting to die. Since matter can't be created or destroyed and Izuki perfect master of her quirk, she had to use her own body to replace the missing pieces from Izuku. This meant that she lost bone, skin, muscles, lots of blood, and parts of her own brain.
She could have used Muscular, his life for her brother was more than a fair trade, but she didn't. She couldn't manipulate genetics that well, only raw flesh. So converting the villains body into useable parts for brother ran the risk of his body rejecting it. Furthermore, just the idea of putting parts of that mad mas brain in her brother was unacceptable. The was no predicting what sort of effect that could have on him.
She had enough to focus on the task at hand which was reviving Izuku Midoriya. She performed CPR on Izuku to get his heart moving but when that didn't work she generated bioelectricity in her hand and shocked him. This continued for a few minutes until she realized that the reason Izuku won't come back no matter what she did was because he was actually brain dead.
She wept dry tears, thinking that it was over, while she reached for Izuku to reabsorb everything she lost trying to revive him she got a dumb but genus idea. It was a dangerous high-risk, near-zero percent chance of success kinda idea that could get her killed and still leave Izuku dead, but she would do anything to save her twin.
Izuki put her hand on Izuku's chest and was about to enact her plan to revive him when Bakugo stirred awake and saw the downed villain and Izuku and a thin Izuki who had labored breathing. "Izuki what happened?" Bakugo yelled rushing to Izuki's side while shedding a few tears. She looked like a bag of bones and he couldn't help but feel like this was somehow his fault.
She stopped her plan when she saw Bakugo approaching. "I...came...saw...villain...beat him...and healed you" she forced out between breaths. "need...to...help...Izuku."
Katsuki looked at the boy in question and saw him lying there without a scratch aside from the blood on his clothes he looked fine. On closer inspection, he realized that Izuku's chest wasn't rising or falling but his guilt and denial made him reject the thought that told him Izuku wasn't breathing since it would mean that Izuku was dead.
"Then heal yourself using me, you should be able to right." Izuki grabbed his arm and he felt a little of his strength leave him. Izuki looked better but not by much. "Heal yourself more you idiot."
"I won't," she stated clearly no longer struggling to breathe. "If I do then you won't have the strength to leave here with Izuku before he wakes up," she said while pointing to the villain.
"Izuki, why are you talking like I'm supposed to leave you behind" bakugo asked tears threatening to fall from his usually smug face. "I'm the great and awesome hero Bakugo I'll get us out of this no problem. Then tomorrow me you and Izuku will hang out at the arcade, go to school, beat up bullies, and watch heroes take down villains like usually right?"
"Katsuki I-" she wanted to bring him back to reality but he wouldn't let her finish speaking.
"Then we'll all go to UA, me and Izuku will become heroes and you'll be our number one medic. Then...Then, I'll become the number one hero and ask you to marry me, Izuku will be the best man and we'll have lots of kids and they'll be strong just like us and they'll also be great hero's so let's grab Izuku and go before the villain wakes up, ok."
Izuki gave a warm smile that was only shown to those she loved and cared for. While she viewed Katsuki as more of a little brother than with any romantic interest, it warmed her heart to know he cared so deeply for her.
"Yeah, let's do that. Kaachan come closer" she asked and so he did. When they were face to face she gave him a kiss on the cheek and stunned him with a bioelectric shock.
He couldn't speak or move only watch and cry as Izuki once again started to breathe heavily. Because of the attack, her heart rate dropped and now she was woozy and struggling to stay conscious.
"Sorry Kaachan, looks like you'll have to do all those things without me." Tears streamed down her eyes as she displayed a bitter smile and placed her hand on Izuku's chest. "But something tells me you'll be just fine without me." In a blinding flash of light, Izuki disappeared and Izuku was in her place. Nothing to signal he was even there but the now empty set of clothes

A/N: Sorry for the three-week late upload, I've been busy with classes, HW, makeup work, and studying for finals. Hadn't really had time for writing. Also lied about the cannon starting this chapter... Sorry. Next chapter for sure tho. Tried to make this chapter tragic but not sure how well I did. Point out mistakes for me to help me improve my writing, please. Till next time author out. ☮︎
