Epilogue

"How did the dinner go?" It was the first thing Jane asked when Dominic picked up the call. He'd gone for dinner to his parents' house last night and it was definitely hot gossip. It was also something she was concerned about. She had been pushing Dominic for that dinner and he had relented only now.

"Good." He replied, not feeling comfortable to elaborate further.

"So... It was awkward." Jane guessed and heard Dominic sighed in confirmation. Of course it would be awkward, how could it not be? Meeting your parents after so many years when you had run away in your childhood, that was situation bound to end up as a disaster if not controlled.

"I can't keep anything from you, can I?"

"Nope" Jane laughed. "Now quickly tell me what happened." She ordered.
