The First Fallout...

A/N: Yesterday someone asked me a question and I answered him but I want to share the answer with everyone so they don't think that I am nerfing the MC.

Ok, Just imagine there is a convey of 10 vehicles. Nick is traveling in the first vehicle while the last vehicle was attacked by an evolved zombie. Evolved zombies are not like the others, they wait for their prey to drop their guard. Nick has already said that his power over Death doesn't work on the zombies, so there is no way for him to know if an evolved zombie is hiding in the shadows until he hears their growl and judging from how fast they lunge on the enemy it is quite difficult to stop. Nick can use telekinesis within 10 meters radius without any hand gesture but if he has to do more than he has to use his hands. Even if he notices the last vehicle being attacked it will take some time for him to raise his hands to stop the zombie. Even within that time the zombie can scratch someone or bite someone turning them into zombies.

The place immediately turned very chaotic since a lot of barricades that were being powered by electric fences had stopped working and the zombies had started to break-in. There were quite a lot of reports flying towards Soichiro and Yuriko about zombies breaking the barricades. Seeing all this Soichiro turned towards the most disgusting man Nick has ever seen. "As you can see that our base is already compromised so I wish that you leave this place" Soichiro said this to Shido who immediately nodded and jumped inside his bus and drove out of the mansion at full speed.

The next moment Nick's whole group came running towards him, "You guys go and check the status of the vehicles" Yuriko shouted from the side. Nick nodded along with his group and headed towards the garage. Nick entered the garage and saw several mechanics frantically running around. "What's the status?"Nick asked and one of the mechanics stopped and recognized Nick since he usually didn't saw someone produce vehicles out of thin air. "All the military vehicles you gave us are ok since they had a mechanism built in to prevent events like this and that Humvee is also fine but that Range Rover is currently useless" The man said at first pointing towards the military vehicles then towards the Humvee they got from Shizuka's friend's house and lastly Nick's favorite car which made him clench his fists tightly.

"That Range Rover, can be fixed right?" Nick asked with fear clear in his voice. "Of course we can fix it with given time but as of now, we need to fix the bigger vehicles since we need them for the relocation" the man said before running off to do his work. Nick nodded happily and walked towards his beloved Range Rover and stored it inside his personal space. Nick took out two barrettes and handed them to Saeko and Shizuka and he handed M-16 to the rest of the group. Nick told Shizuka to take the Humvee out while he was going to talk with Soichiro. Nick found the man near the main gate directing some of his men. Nick walked towards him so he could talk with him.

"What is the status, Father?" Nick asked Soichiro. "Saya was right, we have been surrounded by 'them'. Some of my men are holding them back but soon they will be falling back when they run out of ammunition" Soichiro told Nick. "Ok, the mechanics are fixing the bigger vehicles as a priority so we can accommodate maximum people" Nick tod Soichiro. "That, is good to hear, so will we heading to the airport first?" Soichiro asked Nick because he wanted to know about their destination after leaving this place. "No, we will be heading towards the nearest shopping district to get enough resources for our new base" Nick said. "Taiei Shopping Town is the nearest shopping district from here" Soichiro told him. "Good, then we will be heading there first, take all armored vehicles except leaving one for me, I will hold 'them' back until all of you leave this place" Nick said completely serious. "No, I can't let you do that. Both of us are going to hold them back and my wife will lead the group to Taiei shopping district" Soichiro said with a voice that didn't leave any room for any negotiation. "Fine, works with me" Nick said.

Soon several buses and trucks were fixed for the relocation plan, soon they people started to get on the vehicles. Yuriko reluctantly agreed to leave Soichiro behind to hold off the zombies when she heard Nick would be there too. Nick being there with her husband dropped the chances of her husband's death. Saya was slightly worried for him but Saeko and Shizuka assured her telling that he could literally rip open his chest and still be alive as nothing happened. Saeko also stayed back with Nick with a sick smile on her face which scared off some of Soichiro's men. Kohta was also with them because of insane compatibility with weapons. The zombies were almost at their doorstep when the whole convoy was ready to leave.

Soon they heard several growling noises followed by a loud roar, all of them looked in that direction and saw a zombie with huge arm charging towards them with some insane momentum. One of Soichiro's men was not so much lucky. The evolved zombie charged at him carrying him and slamming him on a wall turning him into human goo. The evolved zombie immediately turned around and was about to charge into someone but before it could do that, it was ripped into several parts killing it successfully. "Is it one of those evolved ones?" Soichiro asked Nick. "Yes, but this was a different kind. Let's call it charger since it charges at us with that insane momentum" Nick said.

Nick, Soichiro, Saeko, and several men stayed behind with them to hold back the zombies. They had a one Typhoon VDV left behind for them. They were about to leave when suddenly a tongue like thing shot out form a wall and was about to grab Soichiro but Nick stopped it and located another kind of evolved zombie over the wall. It was out of his 10-meter radius so he clasped his fist crushing the zombie leaving a green smoke. "Thanks for the save, you get in the driving seat and get ready to leave" Soichiro said the first part to Nick then ordered one of man to take the driving seat. The man immediately followed the order and jumped into the driving seat. All of them entered the vehicle one by one leaving only Nick behind. Nick send one last wave of his telekinesis power before killing every zombie entered the mansion perimeters. Nick was about to get on the vehicle until a midget zombie jumped on him while cackling like a mad man but ended up ripped apart and Nick entered the vehicle and closed the door.

The driver needed anymore sign and he immediately put the vehicle in gear and drove out of the mansion while they kept hearing the roars of zombies. "Well that was insane" Nick said before taking out a carton of beer and handing them to everyone. "Good job everyone, let's call the zombie with the long tongue as Smoker and the last one Jockey because of it's laughing and jumping" Nick said taking a drag out of his newly lit cigarette. He also handed a cigarette to Saeko who became happy and content. "None of us wouldn't have made it out alive if it wasn't for you Nick" Soichiro said with a tone of gratitude. "Normal humans don't even have a chance against these kinds of evolved zombies" one of Soichiro's men spoke up and the rest of them nodded in agreement. Even Soichiro and Saeko nodded.

Saeko crawled beside Nick and leaned on his chest. Soichiro was not ok with his daughter sharing a man but he cannot say or do anything now since his own wife encouraged their daughter. Nick started to pat Saeko's head which made her even more comfortable. "How long till we reach that place?" Nick asked casually. "Another half an hour till we reach there" the driver spoke up. Nick nodded in understanding and took out another beer bottle and started to drink from that.

After another half an hour their group stopped in front of a five-story building where several vehicles were already there. When the vehicle stopped Saeko opened her eyes and saw Nick smiling at her. He kissed her on the lips before getting down the vehicle and stretching his body. He took out two cigarettes and lit one for himself and handed the other to Saeko. Nick saw Yuriko hugging her husband. Saya and Shizuka were also coming towards him with a happy smile on their faces.

"Mother, what is the status?" Nick asked Yuriko. "We lost a few men when we were attacked by a Hunter after we reached here, the doors are barricaded from inside" Yuriko told him with sadness clear in her voice. "Ok, let's go there" Nick said before getting in front of the front door. He knocked on the door but received no answer. "If you don't answer I will be breaking in" Nick said and waited for a few moments before he heard a female voice from inside.

"Please don't, we will be opening the door" Nick heard the female voice and decided to wait for a few moments.
