Bloodlock town

Yin Xia dragged Yin Zhu away from Mister Chu after she bowed her head and politely took her to leave but one could see that she was in a hurry. She left as soon as possible giving Mister Chu not even the slightest chance to say a thing more to her sister or her, she was worried that if she was to hear even a thing more, she would end up barfing.

What worried her, even more, was that Yin Zhu was clenching her fists if she so much as left her sister alone with Mister Chu then surely her sister was going to pounce on the man and turn him black and blue, a start that Yin Xia did not want to have on the same day when Yin Zhu was starting work in the Situ mansion. The last thing she wanted was for everyone to know that her sister despite her small figure can fight like a bull, it will only attract the attention of those three young masters.

Mister Chu watched them go and then rubbed his chin, his servant who was standing beside him didn't even dare to breathe. He was afraid that if he so much as raised his head, he would be the one who would suffer the worst flogging of his life.

"Hmm, it seems that the forbidden fruit just got even more forbidden," Mister Chu mumbled under his breath as he rubbed his square jaw. " But that only makes it even more interesting, I kind of want to taste it and see just what kind of sweetness is it hiding."

" Lord, what ..what should we do with the boxes of eclairs that you have brought for Miss Yin?" The servant asked politely, earlier this morning after finding out that Miss Yin Zhu has taken a liking to the eclairs, a new type of dessert being sold in the pastry shop of the town, Mister Chu has ordered the whole batch after bullying the owner of the shop.

He planned to eat it with Miss Yin Zhu in the carriage while chatting with her but now she was gone. What were they going to do with the several boxes that were piled up in the carriage?

" Just throw them in the trash, what else?" replied Mister Chu carelessly as he impatiently glared at his servant. " Those desserts were bought for Miss Yin Zhu and she should be the only one eating them if she doesn't eat them then those desserts lose all their sweetness!"

" But you can always give them to her tomorrow, sire," said the servant, those eclairs were the most novel dessert of the town forget about eating people like him can't even smell it. Those things cost more than twenty gold nuts and his master wanted to throw it all away for what?

Mister Chu's expression turned irritated as he turned around and then heavily smashed his cane on the back of his servant. " What do you know? If I was to give her the ones that are stale desserts then she will never accept my proposal is that what you want?" He added with narrowed eyes.

"N..No, master that's not what I meant," the servant lowered his head. " I just wondered why someone as fine as you is working so hard to win the heart of someone like Miss Yin Zhu. She cannot even afford to eat an eclair every month and yet you are so fine that you can buy so many boxes for her yet she still acts so haughtily towards you master, I mean you are one of the richest men in the town and you can get any woman you want as long as you look their way, so why her?"

The servant was smart enough to know what to say, he knew that his master was annoyed by the fact that miss Yin Zhu ignored him again and being the pompous man he was, he will certainly like it if he was to praise him. Sure enough, a moment later his master was looking rather pleased as he ran his fingers over his moustache.

" Did you not see how protective Miss Yin Xia was being towards her sister? Her father is just the very same, the thought of snatching the golden egg from the two protective hens makes me all satisfied. And I have never seen a beta female looking as good as Miss Yin Zhu, she is petite and beautiful not like the burly and average-looking beta females and what's more she is untouched and pure, don't you enjoy the feeling of ruining something to perfect?" He licked his lips as he looked at the Yin sisters who climbed in the carriage and then turned to walk towards his. " I just adore the fact of making that woman cry for me, she can try to run away as much as she wants but she will be mine, sooner or later, it's just a matter of time."

" BLOODLOCK TOWNHALL!"

The carriage driver stopped his carriage before he raised the curtain that separated his seat from the carriage. " THE ONES WHO PAID FOR BLOODLOCK TOWNHALL GET DOWN!"

Yin Zhu jumped off the carriage only to stumble twice and almost fall to the ground when she heard Yin Xia click her tongue behind her. " You sure are something."

Unlike her, Yin Xia was completely fine, she was standing straight while looking at Yin Xia with a brow hitched up.

" You sure you will be able to last in the Situ mansion?" Her sister asked once again but she was already walking towards the manor of the Situ family which was past the big clock tower that was at the centre of the streets with many people bustling around.

" I am sure and I think that its too late for you to ask me this sissy," Yin Zhu smiled at her sister as she curiously looked around the busy streets where people were walking around, paddlers were shouting to attract the attention of people and the streets shops were full with the crowd.

So, this was Bloodlock city.
