25. Difficult Fight

Dastan looked at Alice whose head was lowered for quite a while. He could only sigh and let out a wry smile.

' What would you expect, it was just an accident, and as a princess of the empire she is not looking for blood, this could be considered my luck' thinking this dastan turn around and left to find a safe place for Alice to take some rest. 'there is still few hours left before it's dinner time. And I still need to hunt 4 more monsters.' he thought.

Alice looked at dastan's retreating figure and couldn't help but let out sad smile. ' I am sorry, dastan. you just got your freedom and I can only bring you nothing but trouble.' thinking this her eyes became moist. She started to sob while covering her face with her hand.

But both of them didn't know, a little trouble can't change anyone's destiny.

After a little while dastan found a midium size cave inside a big tree . and It was perfect for good rest.

After that , dastan went to Alice again and told her about the cave . She agreed and moved to the cave, And he left after that to finish his mission.

After 2 and half hour dastan returned but found that Alice is missing. He thought that she had left in anger because of his question earlier. So he could only sigh and prepare to leave aswell.

At the top of the tree, there was a snake which was 10 meter long and thik as bucket. And there was a girl , and she couldn't say anything because being bound by the tail of the snake. She also saw dastan but couldn't say a word but even if she could she just wanted dastan to run away.

As dastan' was about to go , he suddenly stopped because he felt danger. He looked around hurriedly but couldn't spot anything and only one place remained to be check.

Slowly dastan started to raise his head, and what he saw made him shocked and anxious. Alice is currently in a very bad state. Without fearing the danger, dastan suddenly shot fire ball at the mouth of the snake.

Even though this attack didn't do much damage to it, but still made him quite painfull. In anger he through Alice towards dastan with astonishing speed.

If not for dastan to have a strong physical body. He would have been smashed into the ground with Alice.

Saving Alice from the hands of the snake . Dastan put her aside in a safe place . And focused his all attention on the upcoming fight .

Looking at the scary snake dastan had the aurge to run away. But Alice is in no condition to run, then only option remains is to fight.

Dastan brought out his steel sword. Holding it tightly in his hand with tence expression on his face.

This monster is at the peak of super tier, even without system's assistant dastan figured that much. Taking a deep breath, he sprang forward with great momentum. And slashed his sword horizontaly above the snake head. Which the snake easily evaded it.

Not to be outdone. The snake waved it's tail towards dastan with tremendous speed . Even though dastan was able to stop it with the help of the sword. He was pushed 10 meters behind making a big gully on the ground.

Feeling the painful sensation in his arm, dastan couldn't help but swear. ' this is going to be a close fight. ' dastan thought.

Once again he stepped forward towards the snake. And just as both of them were about to collide, dastan suddenly jumped high in the air. As he came across the body of the snake , dastan shot out multiple fire ball at the back of the snake. And because of propelled by shooting fire ball , he was able to catch a tree branch in midflight.

Seeing that snake is having a difficult time because of pain . Dastan suddenly shot his fire dragon spell. At the same place where the previous attack made it bleed. And this time with a massive explosion, snake was thrown away quite further away from where they fought.

As dastan got down from the tree to look at the snake situation, suddenly a snake head appeared in front of him, surprised just as he was about to block the attack. But because of slower reaction he couldn't stop the attack on time. And the snake head hit him squarely on his chest. Sending his flying for 20 meters. When he came to stop after sliding for a while. His whole body was covered with blood. He tried to stand up but fall to his knees. And coughed out a mouth full of blood. Holding his chest with his hand. Dastan can be sure, there are many broken ribs in his chest right now. But he couldn't take care of it just yet.

Seeing the upcoming attack once again. Dastan quickly cover his whole body with earth armour. And started running towards the snake while suppressing his pain.

He fought head on with the monster but everytime he was pussed little further. And was very close to where Alice was resting. After jumping away from the snake dastan cast his strongest spell meteor shower. And started to stall for time. As he and the snake fought each other. All around them only destruction could be seen. All the trees where topple down.

Suddenly, the whole area became red and dastan understood, it's time thinking that dastan with his fastest speed made some distance from the snake. As he started running, snake was little confused but suddenly he felt life threatening danger. Hurriedly looking up. He only had time to cry out loud then.

" Bbbbooooooommmmmmm"

All the nearby trees, ground and all the plants were Destroyed. Dastan hurried to Alice and tried to cover her with his body but being very close to the explosion. Both of there clothes were burn to crisp. And the hot air also did quite a damage to thier skin.

Alice being unconscious, she didn't feel anything but dastan had to suffer quite a bit and was on the verge of fainting.
