10. The Mysterious Obelisk

After paying the entry fee. Dastan started wondering around for quite a while. Because he was feeling upset. He just wanted to see his only family in this world.

After looking around for some time , dastan went to book a room at the inn. After going inside the room, dastan sat down on the bad and went offline.

Just as he woke up he could hear a scolding." Dastan how was your day."

Hearing Claire's voice dastan flinched. ' oh shit , i forgot about breakfast and lunch. '

" Hahah... sister I am feeling fine." Suddenly a rumbling sound came from his stomach.

Dastan stoped talking ' seriously can't you wait just a little to make a protest.'

" Sorry sister, I was in the forest, and couldn't find a safe place so i couldn't logout."

Looking at dastan who was making excuses, Claire don't know what to do with him.

She just stayed quite and fished out a lunch box . After opening it she started feeding dastan without another word.

Dastan' feeling that the atmosphere was tence , he also didn't say anything and just focused on eating lunch.

After some passed and Seeing that untill now Claire didn't say a word dastan started to get anxious.

" Sister pls forgive me i wouldn't do it again. I just left the village for the next one. In order to find you . I just wanted to find you guys in the game to spend time with. "

" Dastan, you take me as your sister right."

" Yes" dastan replied without any doubt in his word.

" Then you will listen to my words right."

" Ofcourse, sister just say it."

" Good , then untill tomorrow morning you are not playing game . Can you do that.?" Claire asked in a serious voice.

" This... Sister "

" Why, can't you do it." She increased her volume a little.

" I....I will do it sister, I will not login untill tomorrow morning." Dastan replied reluctantly. And Claire just stood up came to dastan and removed his helmet, without it even he wants , he can't login.

" Good then see you at the evening." Finished saying she left with Theodor who didn't speak a word from the start. Because he was angry aswell.

Dastan left alone , seeing the darkness around him , he felt bad to make them angry. He also understand that they were angry because he didn't eat anything whole day.

Just as he was wondering what to do from now on to pass the time. In this dark world he finally saw a glimpse of light.

First dastan thought it was an illusion but constant light flickering made him realise it was really.

After trying his hardest to get close to that light dastan felt tired. This blackness is like Ocean and to swim inside this ocean one need a powerful will. Which dastan doesn't lack.

After giving his all to propel himself towards the light , dastan finally reached his destination but what made surprised is that the light was coming from non other then from the obelisk which he took it in the game.

He couldn't believe that a game item is his mind right now. But the obelisk inside his mind is quite big . It's more then 100 meters in height. But what is surpriseing is that he can see inside his mind without any problem. The shape, the drawings every inch of the obelisk he could see clearly.

He knew that it was an artifect but what's the use he didn't know.

Slightly touching it dastan felt warm current cource through his body as he moaned in satisfaction. When he opened his eye again. All the darkness no where to seen.

He was standing on a plain field. Far away he could see mountains with a colour ful cloud in the sky.dastan felt like he was in fairy land.

After looking around himself dastan didn't find anything so thought of going towards the mountain.

As he took a single step. Suddenly a beast appeared in front of his eyes which was standing in front of dastan waiting for a fight.

Dastan didn't understand what's going on but he became alert.

' what should I do now. does this space want me to fight.' he thought.

After taking a fighting stance dastan got ready to fight. Just as dastan thought ' I wish I had my sword ' a sword suddenly appeared in his hand. Which him surprised.

But removing his distracting though. With a explosive strength dastan went forward. And stumbled about to fall down." How can I be this strong, this is not the game."

But the beast didn't wait for him to stabilize and with just a moment the beast grabbed his neck with his mouth.

With a crack sound dastan neck broke and darkness once again engulfed him .

When he opened his eye again he was standing in front of the obelisk safe and sound.

He touched his neck to double check but everything was fine no injuries were there.

Didn't want to give up dastan tried again and went back to fairy land space.

Once again he took a step and a beast appeared but this time the beast was different. with a body of elephant and head of a lion a wierd combination.

He started fighting the beast again but the outcome was the same as the last time. This time after coming out dastan started to think about what happened. And what is this thing .

And to get the answer he would have to defeat the beast . So dastan once again went inside and started another round of battle. This time beast was previous one . So became alert.with his full constration dastan manage to tackle the beast quite a bit but the ending result was the same.

Tired dastan just sat down outside the obelisk and started meditating to recover his stamina. After an hour he once again stood up ready to fight another round.
