Chapter 5 - Cameras

I was still on Blondie's hip as he walkes up through the crowd, there were men either side of us, Blondie had tried to keep me hidden from sight, the men blocking an camera's view of me. I still didn't really know why, we eventually got to a long black car with dark windows. Blondie placed me in first before getting in himself. "Where to Boss?" The driver gruffly said. "The Office, I have to sort something out" The driver nodded while Blondie pulled up a thing that separated us from the driver's view.

I turned to Blondie, "What's your name Blondie?" Blondie laughed at me, "My name's Falcon" I tilted my head, "Like the bird?" Falcon laughed at my response and nodded, "Like The Bird" He put on my seatbelt, which made me feel really uncomfortable, then he put on his. "Where did you last see your mother Hope?" I got a bit disheartened at the mention of my mother. "On our park bench" He looked confused at my answer, "Park bench-?" I slowly nodded, "Yes?"

"When did she disappear? And which way did she go?" I was asleep, I don't know which way she went! "I don't know the time, but in the night" Falcon sighed and took my hand in his. "Why were there cameras?" I asked, still confused as to why he was so desperate to not be seen. "I'm well known for what I do Hope, lots of people know me, so they want to get pictures" Oh okay, I kinda understand now.

The car stopped at a tall building where a tall man with grey hair was waiting with an angry look on his wrinkly face. "Oh god" Falcon whispered before getting the horrible seatbelt off of me, he replaced me back on his hip when he stepped out the car. "What the hell did I hear about 'Technical Difficulties' at the show!" The grey haired man was fuming. Falcon just walked past him and through the spinnie doors. "Oooh, spinny" I squealed when we got all the way through.

Falcon walked us towards a desk where a brown curly haired, chubby lady with red-rimmed glasses was waiting. "Where's Samantha waiting?" Who's Samantha? "Room 718" Falcon thanked her and started walking towards a big metal box. We went in and Falcon pressed a button with the number 7 on it. The button lit up, just as the doors were closing, the angry man from earlier wa sstalking towards us. "Don't you dare Falcon!!" He screamed.

Falcon smirked at him, and laughed. "Oh, I dare" Before the doors shut and the box started moving upwards. "What are we doing Falcon!!" I yelled, I don't like this! "Calm down Bumble Bee, we're just going to sort this all out" What's 'this' ?! The box made a ping! Sound before Falcon walked us and out and into a hallway with pictures with lots of different guitars and players on them. We walked past one that quickly caught my attention,

"Mummy!"
