Chapter 10

“Hi!” Flynn opened the door before he could knock, his eyes on the dogs.

“Hey.” He crossed the threshold and toed off his shoes. It was cold and dry outside, so he didn’t think the dogs’ paws were too dirty.

“Come in.” Flynn moved into the living room, grinning at Moose who trotted by his side, his black tail swishing back and forth.

“I’ve ordered pizzas, they’ll arrive in about ten minutes.”

Caspian nodded. He had a hard time finding his voice. Flynn had changed clothes. The T-shirt he wore made his eyes look more gray than blue, and it accentuated his lithe frame. He’d always been graceful. Caspian would’ve paid money to see him dance. As far as he could recall, Flynn hadn’t been into dancing, but he’d fit as a ballet dancer.

“Do you know anything about figurines?” Flynn spun around, and Caspian smiled at the way his hands were flying through the air.

“Figurines?”

“Porcelain figurines. You know, kids with dogs, women dancing, that sort of thing.”
