The Party

-3rd POV-

After leaving the interrogation room. The three went towards Mobius's lab.

"So, what now? Have anything fun to do? I've been stuck in that room for two days! I need to have my fun!" (Veldora)

Mobius turned towards Veldora, annoyed by his antics.

"Fire MOTH will throw a party to keep the morales high. As high as it can be in our situation. Just go there and leave me alone!" (Mobius)

"Come on~ The more people, the more fun it is!" (Elysia)

Elysia forcefully took Mobius's hand and dragged her out of her lab.

"Exactly! I wonder if I can open a food stand in the party? Ku-hahahaha!" (Veldora)

Mobius tried to struggle, but couldn't do much against the Draconic Herrscher's superior strength.

'Why can't I use my skills?!' (Mobius)

Mobius, after noticing that she can't access her skills. Looked at the most likely suspect.

'Did he seal them? Tch.' (Mobius)

Mobius just complied to their antics and let herself get dragged.

"Our destination is the party! We're gonna have lots of fun! Ku-hahahaha!" (Veldora)

"Yes~ I wonder if I will see familiar faces there~?" (Elysia)

"Do you even know where the party is located?" (Mobius)

"..." (Veldora)

"Veldora, can't you find it with your skills or something?" (Elysia)

"Oh right! I forgot!" (Veldora)

'How can a dumbass like this be so strong?' (Mobius)

"Ok! I found it! Our destination is the party!" (Veldora)

"Come on! Lead the way~" (Elysia)

Various executives of MOTH were in the room. But the most eye-catching one was the white haired and blue eyed tuna ancestor. But the attention given to him was not of admiration, but of fear.

'Sight, why must I attend this shitshow...' (Kevin)

Kevin, with his strengthened senses. Felt something above him. The roof was made of glass so Kevin could see through it. As Kevin looked up, he could see a strange sight.

A blonde man was approaching him at an alarming speed. The blonde man was holding two women in his arms. Kevin knew all of them really well.

'Why are they here?!' (Kevin)

Kevin's sudden actions gained the attention of other attendees as they too, looked up.

After a couple seconds, something landed on the roof. Gaping a hole in it in the process.

"We have come for the party!" (Veldora)

Veldora did a pose that could count as a JoJo reference, dropping the two women in the process.

"The landing could be better. But, why am I even here?" (Mobius)

"Hmm...Don't know that one...Not that guy either...Why is that girl sleeping on the floor?...Oh! Finally a familiar face!" (Elysia)

Elysia didn't mind the kiss with the floor and stood up. She inspected the attendees like a radar and smiled at a beautiful woman.

The woman had a long loose red hair with golden yellow eyes. The woman turned towards the notice of the roof breaking and stared at the culprits. Noticing a familiar face.

Without minding the broken roof, the woman went towards our favourite Pink Elf.

"Ellie! It's nice to see you! How have you been?" (Eden)

"Eden! You are as beautiful as always! But, why are you in a party arranged by MOTH? Are you going to sing here?" (Elysia)

"Ellie...I decided to end my career as a singer. I joined Fire MOTH as a soldier." (Eden)

"Huuuh? But why? Your singing is the best! Why would you want to risk your life?" (Elysia)

"When I was having a concert in Australia. A Honkai impact happened. The crowd was running in desperation or painfully dying. And I only could watch them die. Thankfully, a MOTH soldier helped me evacuate.

I want to protect those lives by being a soldier!" (Eden)

Elysia was taken aback by Eden's words. Seeing the determined eyes of Eden, Elysia couldn't say anything.

"..." (Elysia)

"By the way Ellie, how did your eye color change? And your ears are longer too!" (Eden)

"Huh? Well, I went under a surgery to get stronger. I look beautiful right~?" (Elysia)

"Surgery, huh? Can I become stronger if I go under one?" (Eden)

"Of course! But I don't recommend it...The survival rate is rather low..." (Elysia)

"Low? How dare you insult my science! I already found a way to guarantee survival!" (Mobius)

"Mobius...Eden! You can become stronger and more beautiful like me~" (Elysia)

"I need some more time to get rid of the negative effects. But it should work." (Mobius)

Kevin, who was eavesdropping their conversation. Rushed towards to shake Mobius for answers.

Mobius, seeing Kevin rushing over to herself. Dodged him with ease.

"Kevin, did you forget that your body is too cold for the normal person to handle? Well, I'm not a normal person anymore." (Mobius)

'She dodged?! Even though I didn't use my full speed, a normal human can't do that.' (Kevin)

"You said that you could remove the negative effects, right?!" (Kevin)

"Stop screaming! And I didn't say I could. I need some time to do experiments." (Mobius)

"Ku-hahahaha! Get your fresh Tempest style cocaine- I mean takoyaki here!" (Veldora)

They all heard Veldora's voice. And turned to him with curiousity.

The roof was repaired and Veldora was standing behind a wooden stand.

There could be seen a queue in front of the stand. Kevin, Eden and Mobius deadpanned.

'Are they drunk?! How can they just ignore a broken roof and a potential threath! Aren't they soldiers?!' The three thought at the same time.

Elysia looked at the queue with a smile and joined it.

Eden, seeing the Pink Elf. Got out of her trance and joined the queue.

'Does he sell Ramen?' (Kevin)

Kevin too, had enough of the bullshit and joined the queue.

'What is wrong with these people?! Ok, I had enough. I will go and drink some alcohol. Klein told me that it can ease mental pain.'

Mobius had enough of losing her brain cells and went to lose more by drinking.

'Hmm? Is that Ato and Blanca? Oh, little Griseo is here too.' (Mobius)
