Star Fall

[The Astral Express, 3rd Person POV]

"Did…Did he just jump out of the train?!" March said, shocked, as she stared wide-eyed at the window, which showed a blonde boy rocketing towards the planet.

"It…Appears so…" Dan Heng said plainly, but the shock was still evident in his tone as he watched with her.

"March, Dan Heng, and Stelle! Go to the surface of the planet!" Himeko decisively stated as she watched the fool enter the atmosphere.

"I'll stay here and keep Welt company." She pointed at the glasses-wearing man, who was still muttering as his worldview shattered and hadn't even noticed what happened.

"Right!" The three said before starting to embark.

Himeko stated, "This may be incredibly last minute, but I need you to identify and seal the stellaron on the planet. It appears to be trapping the express! I'll tell you more over the coms… Just get there quickly before Aster causes more damage…" she stated, sounding tired.

The trio sprang into action, their hearts pounding with adrenaline as they raced to catch up with the human missile, Aster.

"Ah! Aster is like a shooting star right now!" Stelle said as she slapped her palm with her fist and stuffed her bag with Pom-Pom puffs.

"Not the time right now!" March shouted as she prepared a bag of clothes to bring to the ship, her outfit still a mess from the space station.

They all rushed to set out as an Aster-shaped projectile hit the planet with an earthshaking boom.

[Aster POV][The greatest gigachad to ever giga and chad]

'Whoops?'

I thought as I jumped out of the train a little prematurely and floated towards the planet due to my momentum.

'Heh…Time to mask on' as I slammed my newfound mask onto my face and propelled myself face first towards the snow planet.

I then expertly used my GoB to pull a giant rocket-shaped bat out before grabbing onto it and propelling myself toward the planet. 'I think it was called a nuclear missile?'

"GERONIMO!" I screamed, but no sound came out…

"WAHAHAHAHA!" I laughed manically as the rocket entered the atmosphere, setting the entire thing ablaze as I clung onto it, the heat and the rush of the descent adding to the exhilaration.

The chorus of laughter seemed to almost be in sync with my laughter as we plummeted towards the planet coated in a golden aura.

Seeing a city below me, I made an executive choice to divert my course a little to this nice open plain.

'Can't just destroy potential new bats after all…'

I thought as the missile I was riding crashed into the planet.

[Jarillo-VI, Belobog, 3rd Person POV]

It was another ordinary day for the people on the snow planet as they went about their daily lives uninterrupted. Little did they know, the fragmentum was encroaching on their sanctuary, and the Supreme Guardian and the Silvermane guards were struggling to maintain normalcy. The overworld and underworld had been sealed off from each other for over a decade, leaving many in isolation. Most of the world was left oblivious about the higher powers at work threatening their existence as a stellaron laid waste to the planet's once thriving ecosystem.

However, this changed one day as many of the citizens started to notice something in the sky. A blinding light like the sun was descending onto the planet in a streak of light. Many of the overworld children tried to grab their parents' attention to look at the shooting star, with many who tried to make a wish on it. Hopes for a warmer future and a better tomorrow were held on by the children of the doomed planet.

This streak of light that inspired hope in the people of Belobog started to noticeably get closer as many started to widen their eyes at the growing size of the "star."

In a miraculous twist of fate, the star that had seemed like a hope turned demise diverted its path and struck the planet over the horizon tens of miles away. A gigantic mushroom cloud erupted from the earth, as many of the people watching were stunned in awe at the "Starfall." No sooner after, chaos erupted as many started to scramble around, preparing for the "end of days."

[The Office of the Supreme Guardian, 3rd person POV]

It was just another day for the Supreme Guardian of Belobog as Cocolia Rand sat at her desk filing paperwork and reviewing reports on the frontline fight against the fragmentum.

The constant voices in her head plagued her as her every action was under their ridicule.

Then suddenly, a Silvermane Guard busts through the door to her office.

"Madam Cocolia!" The man screamed as he rushed into the room, a mess.

"What is it, soldier?" She said, slightly irritated at the interruption.

"Outside! Look outside!" He yelled while pointing to the window behind her.

Hesitantly, she looked outside to see what looked like the sun coming toward the city.

Her hand gripped into a fist as she watched the ball of light get closer to the planet.

'Is this also a part of their plans?' she thought as, for once, the voices plaguing her were silent.

Thoughts like this went through her mind as a giant cloud of flames blanketed the sun…

[Some plain somewhere…, 3rd Person POV]

Somewhere in a snowy plain surrounded by mountainous rocks stood a lone figure walking away from a dilapidated building. A flamboyantly dressed man with dark blue hair was counting a wad of bills. His gloved hands went through each bill to ensure the amount was correct, as he had just finished a transaction. His mood was at its peak as he celebrated another profitable transaction.

When suddenly he heard the sky roar as a giant ball of light appeared above him. The sky started to darken as the light almost absorbed the surroundings.

"Wha-" The man tried to say before getting engulfed by the mini sun.

[Aster POV]

"Hah…Hah…Hah…" I was breathing heavily as the adrenaline of the "ride" was pumping.

"THAT WAS SO AWESOME!" I shouted into the heavens as I lay on my back, sprawled out in a giant crater. The once snowy area was reduced to a scorched earth with occasional glass peppering the landscape.

"Welp, I lost my clothes again…" I said aloud to nobody as I realized that maybe the effort of wearing clothes would not be worth it. 'Should I just go nude from now on?'

While I was pondering my future exhibitionist lifestyle, the mask that somehow was not damaged at all started to ding like crazy.

The dings were so rapid-fire that they sounded like a long ding as the notifications filled my screen.

"Oooo, goodies," I say while mentally willing the mask to expand the details behind the dings and finally catch up on the backlog since the space station.

Slightly shorter chapter, but I felt this was a good place to end it.

Now that a decent amount of time has passed…

How does everyone feel about 2.2?

I can safely say that Penacony is PEAK content.

"FEEL THE WILL OF THE WEAK" and all that.

I try to convince friends to play HSR, but many are scared because of the gacha elements or because they were jaded by Genshin.

Which I understand, but I'm sure many understand the desire to talk about the game with friends.

Hehe...

What does a planet whos facing destruction do when the Walking Catastrophe takes a visit?
