Ch-98 < Finality vs end >

The surface of the moon was a battlefield of unimaginable chaos, the very ground beneath their feet trembling as if the celestial body itself was on the verge of disintegration. The void of space crackled with energy, the normally serene landscape now marred by craters, fissures, and jagged peaks of crystallized Honkai energy.

Kevin Kaslana stood at the forefront, his usually composed demeanor strained as he switched his Key of Destruction to Zeroth Power. The blade hummed with a furious energy, a dark purple aura surrounding it as Kevin charged at the Herrscher, determination etched on his face. Elysia and Jyahnar followed closely behind, their own auras blazing with their respective powers.

As Kevin neared the Herrscher, he swung the Zeroth Power, aiming to cleave her in two. But just as his blade was about to make contact, it froze mid-flight, caught in the icy grip of the Herrscher's power. The inferno that engulfed his sword and the surrounding area was instantly extinguished, the flames turned to solid ice in a fraction of a second.

"What...?" Kevin's eyes widened in shock as he struggled to break free of the frozen hold, but it was too late.

The Herrscher's lips curled into a cold, merciless smile as she manipulated the space around them.

Kevin's instincts screamed at him to move, but before he could react, she summoned a subspace lance and impaled his body. The lance tore through him with a sickening crunch, the force of the blow sending him crashing into the ground. He gasped, blood splattering across the lunar surface.

"Kevin!" Elysia and Jyahnar's voices echoed in his mind through the soul bond, their worry palpable. Elysia's usual tone was gone, replaced by fear and concern. Jyahnar's aura flared with barely contained rage, her body trembling with the urge to rush to his aid.

But Kevin didn't need their help—at least, not yet. With a grunt, he grabbed the lance impaling his chest and yanked it out. The wound knitted itself back together almost instantly, his regenerative abilities kicking in. He rose to his feet, wiping the blood from his mouth, his expression hardening.

"I'm fine," he sent back to them through the bond, his voice resolute. "Focus on the battle."

The Herrscher's power continued to escalate. She called upon the very earth beneath their feet, creating massive fissures that threatened to swallow them whole.

The ground split open, jagged chasms appearing in every direction as the moon quaked violently. Kevin leaped across the chasms, his heart pounding in his chest as he dodged falling debris.

"She's altering the terrain to throw us off balance," Elysia analyzed, her mind racing as she dodged a falling boulder. "We can't fight effectively if the ground itself is turning against us."

"Then we'll just have to take the fight to her," Jyahnar responded, her voice cold and determined. She summoned the primordial darkness within her, using it to stabilize the ground beneath them, preventing further fissures from forming.

But the Herrscher wasn't done. She extended her influence over space itself, creating a disturbance in the fabric of space.

In addition gravity around them increased exponentially, their movements slowed to a crawl as if they were trapped in molasses.

"Space and gravity at same time," Kevin thought, gritting his teeth as he felt the immense pressure on his body.

His muscles strained under the increased gravity and space disturbance, every movement requiring immense effort. "She's targeting me specifically, trying to isolate me from the others."

"Target prioritized," the Herrscher's voice rang out, cold and somewhat mechanical. Her eyes locked onto Kevin, her aura intensifying as she prepared her next attack.

Kevin's vision blurred as he felt a strange sensation—a conjunction of space and time, a convergence of all possible outcomes, all of them pointing to his inevitable demise. His heart pounded in his chest as he realized the danger he was in.

His body was covered in separate

space-time and if this happen then all atmos in his body will disperse in different dimension.

Kevin resisted with all his strength and ultize void authority to free himself.

Through the soul bond, he could sense Elysia and Jyahnar's frantic thoughts. They were locked in battle, deflecting plasma blasts that could vaporize a planet in an instant to protect him.

Despite their best efforts, both Elysia and Jyahnar had taken heavy damage, their bodies scorched by the intense heat. Severe burns marred their skin, the pain searing through their bodies.

"We can't keep this up," Elysia thought, her mind racing as she dodged another plasma blast. "We need to take her down, and fast."

Kevin knew she was right. They were being overwhelmed, and the Herrscher's power was only growing stronger. They needed an edge—something to turn the tide in their favor.

"Mauve Eyes," Kevin thought, activating the power hidden within his bloodline. His eyes glowed with a violet light as he focused on the Herrscher, attempting to suppress her divinity with the anti-divinity properties of the Voldigoad bloodline.

But the power of the Herrscher was too great. The moment Kevin's Mauve Eyes locked onto her, the energy rebounded, a shockwave of divine power striking back at him. He cried out in pain as his eyes began to bleed, the violet light dimming as he staggered backward.

"Kevin!" Elysia's voice was filled with alarm, but there was no time for concern. The Herrscher was preparing another attack, one that would be the end of them all if it connected.

Kevin clenched his fists, ignoring the searing pain in his eyes. "I won't let it end here," he thought, his determination burning brighter than ever.

He conjured a void barrier around them, wrapping the space in an impenetrable shield. The Herrscher's plasma blasts struck the barrier, but it wasn't enough to stop them completely. The barrier began to crack under the immense pressure, the violet energy flickering as it struggled to hold.

"This isn't enough," Kevin realized, gritting his teeth as he felt the barrier beginning to fail. "I need more power..."

He summoned the Chains of Judah, the chains appearing around him in a flash of light. They wrapped around the void barrier, reinforcing it and blocking the plasma blasts.

But the Herrscher's power was relentless, and even the Chains of Judah couldn't hold out forever.

With a final surge of willpower, Kevin used his body as a human shield, stepping in front of Elysia and Jyahnar.

"Kevin don't endangered yourself". Jyahnar voice echoed in his mind.

"I know," Kevin responded, his voice calm despite the chaos around him. "but i need to protect you both."

He activated the Authority of Destruction, the violet energy within him erupting in a violent storm that engulfed the entire battlefield.

The plasma blasts were consumed by the violet energy, the destructive force tearing through the Herrscher's attacks and even damaging her directly.

"Now!" Kevin thought, using the momentary distraction to teleport both Elysia and Jyahnar back to Bronya's location.

In the back of his mind, he could feel the presence of Elysia and Jyahnar, their worry and concern reaching out to him through the soul bond. He could sense Bronya's analytical mind, calculating every possible outcome, trying to find a way to win.

Kevin took a deep breath, the air heavy with the scent of ozone and blood. He tightened his grip on the Zeroth Power of divine key of destruction, feeling the blade hum with energy.

He focused his mind, drawing on every ounce of strength he had left."I'm not alone," he thought, his resolve solidifying. "I carry their hopes with me."

With a roar, Kevin charged at the Herrscher, the Zeroth Power blazing with violet energy of Finality. A blade of Purple light which reach the space come down on her.

The Herrscher unleashed her full power, a cataclysmic wave of energy that tore through the fabric of space and time.

The space got distorted and then crack formed on them. Through cracks which absorbed the attack.

But he didn't falter. He raised the Zeroth Power, the blade cutting through the very air as he swung it with all his might. The violet energy surged forward, meeting the Herrscher's attack head-on.

Kevin then activated his deliverance mode.
