Rouge has destroyed majority of super sorcery Kingdom and became a true demon demon lord after giving himself a name.
4 days after this incident
Kevin and Velgrynd embarked on their journey, heading south towards the mountain where the great dragon Veldanava resided.
The mountain loomed high, covered in thick fog and surrounded by dense forests, a fitting home for the creator of their world. As they approached, the sight of a dragon over 100 meters tall with sapphire blue scales and glowing yellow eyes greeted them.
Veldanava's form was awe-inspiring, exuding an air of power and wisdom.
Several flutters echoed in the distance, and Veldanava's smile widened in anticipation. However, it quickly faded as his gaze landed on something unexpected — a person. His golden eyes narrowed, locking onto Kevin as they landed gracefully on the mountain peak.
**"Hello, brother,"** Velgrynd greeted him warmly, but Veldanava's eyes remained fixed on Kevin, curiosity swirling in their depths.
After a moment, Veldanava broke into a grin. **"Welcome to my home!"** he said grandly, his voice echoing across the mountain. Kevin introduced himself politely, though he could feel the intensity of the dragon's gaze on him.
Veldanava chuckled, his voice filled with amusement. **"You two came together. I see Velgrynd has found a lover. She's the first of us to manage such a feat,"** he teased, earning a light scowl from Velgrynd.
**"I am not the first— indeed im first"** Velgrynd began to retort but paused, but Veldanava waved his hand dismissively.
With a flick of his wrist, he conjured a table and chairs using magic, transforming into his human form, an elegant man with striking golden eyes and hair that shimmered like the stars. **"Let's have a meal,"** he said cheerfully, preparing food with ease.
As they ate, the conversation flowed naturally, though Kevin remained cautious, sensing there was more to Veldanava's interest than mere curiosity.
After a while, Veldanava leaned back, studying Kevin closely. **"You're not from this world,"** he said suddenly, causing Velgrynd to freeze for a moment. **"A person of your strength… I made a special record of you in the Star Palace."**
Kevin felt his pulse quicken but maintained his calm. He gave a brief explanation of how he had accidentally ended up in their world through dimensional travel, choosing to withhold any mention of Veldanava possibly being an Outer God. There was no need to stir more suspicions.
Veldanava seemed content with the answer and began boasting about his creations. **"High humans,"** he said proudly, **"they are the pinnacle of my work. Their minds, their potential... But they can also be destructive if left unchecked."**
Kevin listened quietly before nodding. **"They're fascinating creatures, no doubt. But if they're not careful, they'll destroy each other sooner than later,"** he said with a knowing look.
After some time, Veldanava suggested exploring the surrounding mountains. **"Come, Kevin, let's leave Velgrynd here while we go on a little adventure,"** he said with a mischievous smile, already standing up. Without waiting for a response, he started heading off into the wilderness.
"You're just going to leave me here?" Velgrynd muttered, crossing her arms as the two men wandered off, completely forgetting about her.
As they ventured through the rugged terrain, Kevin and Veldanava engaged in light banter. "You created all these beings, yet I hear you're quite lazy," Kevin teased, eyeing the dragon.
Veldanava shrugged nonchalantly. "It's called delegation. Why should I do everything when others can do it for me?" he said with a playful smile.
Kevin chuckled, shaking his head. "Delegation or dumping responsibilities on others? Velgrynd told me about how you try to avoid the work."
"She exaggerates!"Veldanava protested, but there was no hiding the laughter in his voice.
"Besides, I created Seven Angels, and in turn, the Great Spirit of Darkness made Seven Demons to balance them out. That's enough work for a lifetime, wouldn't you say?"
Kevin raised an eyebrow. "Seven Demons, huh? What's the deal with them?". He want more information about them.
Veldanava sighed dramatically, as if recounting a great burden. "My angels don't have egos, they're pure and peaceful. But demons? They were born with strong egos, and they lust for battle and destruction. So, I created a system to limit their power. They can only be summoned in a weaker state, but once they acquire a physical body, they can break their limits."
Kevin nodded, understanding. "So, that's how the Red Primordial ascended, right? Acquiring a body gave them a way to rival the angels but i guess you have to be fair and give them the same treatment ?"
Veldanava grinned. "Exactly. I must but Rouge is quite the troublemaker and I have plans to create someone who can rival even the demon lords, a protector of humanity."
Kevin looked skeptical. "A protector of humans? But I'm already way stronger than Rouge. Shouldn't that job fall to me?" he joked.
Veldanava smirked. "You? Don't be ridiculous. I wouldn't trust you with that kind of responsibility. You're too strong for your own good, and besides, I heard you're quite the slacker yourself when Velgrynd said that you stayed in a single place for one week without even moving a muscle."
Kevin chuckled, playing along with the banter. "I might be a slacker, but I don't dump my responsibilities on others, unlike some dragons I know."
Veldanava laughed, raising his hands in mock surrender. "Alright, alright, you've made your point. But I still think you should fight Rouge first. If he loses to you it will definitely stop his destructive nature.."
Kevin grinned mischievously. **" you defeat him and then let him challenge me? This way it will shatter him completely!"
Veldanava shook his head, pretending to think it over. "Well, someone has to keep him in check.…"
*****
Two months had passed in relative peace and laughter.
Kevin and Veldanava had grown incredibly close, bonding over their shared laid-back personalities and love for simple pleasures.
Most mornings, Kevin would meditate for a few hours, but after that, he'd lazily sit on the ground next to Veldanava, playing video games, cards, eating whatever they could conjure up, and generally goofing off. Their dynamic was almost childish, and they enjoyed every minute of it.
During this event Veldanava even show him various attacks and techniques regarding primitive magic and stardust. Kevin instantly grasped the concept behind it. But rest of time they annoy Velgrynd or just lay around.
Velgrynd, however, had started to regret letting Kevin come here. Watching the two men loaf around, barely getting anything productive done, she sighed.
"They're just alike. What was I thinking bringing kevin with me. Now brother has became more unbearable?" she muttered to herself. Just then, a 16 years old white hair and blue eyes arrived, having sensed her sister's return. She is velzard, Velgrynd elder sister and 2nd of true dragon.
Velzard, upon seeing the two men playing yet another video game, felt a small pang of jealousy. Her brother was entirely focused on Kevin, leaving both her and Velgrynd feeling a little sidelined. But even though she couldn't dislike Kevin, since he was so similar to Veldanava in nature, she couldn't help but feel left out.
One afternoon, as they sat together playing a card game, Velgrynd, Velzard, Kevin, and Veldanava found themselves deep in conversation.
"You know, Velzard," Kevin said, eyeing his cards with a playful grin, "if you really want to get on my good side, just bring me snacks. I'm pretty simple like that."
Velzard raised an eyebrow, "Snacks? You think I'd stoop that low just to win your favor?"
"Why not?" Veldanava chimed in, laughing. "It worked for me!"
Velzard rolled her eyes. "I see you're both idiots."**
Later that evening, Kevin and Veldanava decided to team up to annoy Velgrynd and Velzard even more. They would playfully poke at them, make exaggerated complaints about things that didn't matter, and get into ridiculous arguments just for fun.
"Velgrynd! Velgrynd!" Veldanava called out dramatically from the other side of the room. "Where's my dragon pillow? I can't sleep without it!"
Velgrynd glared at him, crossing her arms. "You're not serious."
"Oh, he's serious," Kevin said, backing him up, grinning like a kid. "And I need a dragon blanket! It's getting cold."
"Cold?" Velgrynd shot back. "You're literally immune to the elements, Kevin."
"True," Kevin admitted, shrugging. "But it's the principle of the thing. I can't sleep without my comfy dragon blanket."
Veldanava burst out laughing while Velzard sat quietly, watching the antics unfold.
As night approached, things got more complicated. Velgrynd, embarrassed to show her intimacy with Kevin to her family, had taken to sleeping in her dragon form, wrapping him protectively in her wings.
However, Velzard wasn't about to let her sister hog all of Kevin's attention.
One night, Velzard decided to make her move. She transformed into her dragon form and slyly used her long white tail to drag Kevin closer to her. Before he realized it, Kevin found himself sandwiched between two dragons — Velgrynd's crimson red scales on one side and Velzard's white ones on the other.
"Guys, seriously?" Kevin muttered, trying to wiggle free. "Can't we just… you know, have our own space?"
Veldanava, still in his human form, laughed from his bed. "Looks like you're in high demand, Kevin. Welcome to the family!"
Velgrynd huffed, not pleased with her sister's interference. "I was here first," she said, giving Velzard a sideways glare.
Velzard snorted. "Oh, please. You're always so dramatic. Besides, I'm just keeping him warm."
Kevin sighed, resigned to his fate. "This is ridiculous. How did I end up stuck between two dragons every night?"
Veldanava smirked, leaning against the wall. "You could always just sleep with me. No tails or wings involved."
Kevin shook his head. "I think I'll pass. You'd probably make me play cards all night."
And so, every night, Kevin found himself trapped in a playful battle between Velgrynd and Velzard, both vying for his attention, while Veldanava acted as the mischievous instigator, egging them on with lighthearted teasing.
Over time, Kevin's presence became more and more a part of the family, and even Velzard, who had initially been jealous, found his company comforting.
