Prince Thallan leaned back in his seat, folding his fingers in front of his mouth as he stared at Lady Jaelah.
"Do you really think its time…"
"What are you waiting for? Do you want to keep bring on tethered hooks until your father is ready to leave that seat?" Jaelah had once thought, Prince Thallan was someone to be feared, but she realized he is easier to control than her husband and daughters.
Once one knows how to make him believe that he is making all the decisions, he easily starts to depend on that person.
"Well, I'm the crown prince…"
"...but that can change at any time." Jaelah pointed out. This was the one thing Thallan feared the most and Lady Jaelah knew it.
The prestige of being the next in line, had respect and honor that Thallan sorely wanted...needed.
