The hot spring

We went to a warm spring in the south province.I never knew there was a warm spring.It was owned by a nobleman but was taken care of by someone else.

They were four ponds.Three for the guests and the other side that was demarcated by a gate was for the owner.

I was inside one of the pond with loren in my breeches as I leaned on a rock holding a cup of liquor.

"Loren let's come here everyday,when kresna is back, she'll join us".

"It's expensive,just enjoy it now.You were angry then,now tell me.Do you regret being angry?",he said as he smiled at me before he drank from his cup.

"I don't regret!,and I'll settle the score with you,later".

Four men joined us in the pond.

I was puzzled as I looked around.The other ponds were empty.Of all the ponds they chose this one,just to ruin my time with loren.

They should better not talk to me.

"The two young men are you both from here?",the first man asked.He looked like in his early 40s.

"Yes,we are",I and loren both answered.

"Are you brothers?.you look alike",the second man asked.He looked like in his early 30s.

"Brothers",loren answered.

"Oh.So the rings you both were as a  necklace,does it mean you both have wives?",the third man asked,he also looked like in his early 30s.

It was then I realized that we forgot to remove our rings.For goodness sake,can't they mind their business?.

I chuckled,"the rings belongs to our late parents.we took one each".

"So you're not married then",the third  man said.

I plastered a fake smile,"Wrong.Am married and the same goes with my brother",I glanced at loren and he tried to hide his grin with his cup covering his mouth.

"Wives are such a hassle.I only got married to her because she comes from a rich family.Am grateful for the whores,they give me what I want but I can't be publicly seen with those low beings",the first man complained.

"A sheep is even more beautiful than my wife and the worst is that she's like a dog.She keeps getting pregnant.I am only 32 and I already have 12 children.They are all hassles",the second man complained.

Don't you ejaculate into her whenever you bed her?.you're the dog,I wanted to say but I held myself back.Should  I speak up?.

"How many girls?",the first man asked.

"All girls,my oldest is 11",the second man replied.

"Sell her to me,I love them young",the third man grinned,"I'll give you 100 pieces of gold",the third man said.

The fourth man who didn't say anything,left the pond.

"Deal",the second man said and they laughed among themselves.

"Did that man just trade his daughter for a mere 100 pieces of gold to that big belly man.Shes still little!.

I better hide kresna from this disgusting men.

Loren motioned me to come out with him and I came out and looked at those men one more time.I was truly disgusted.

We were about to go to our room to change when an attendant stopped us and we turned.

"The owner wants to see both of you in his pond",she said.

I was looking for where I'll vent my anger and suddenly this?.

We went to the owner's pond.Lo and behold it was the fourth man.

We went in.

"Am ramus,31 years old and am the owner of this place,how about the both of you.

"Am kylis sorock-merve,am a physician",I introduced myself.

"Am edis sorock-merve,am a blacksmith",loren introduced himself.

"Am sure the both of you were bored from those men talks.I was too bored that's why I got out",he said as he stared at me.

"It was unpleasant to the ears",loren said.

"Am not married but do you love your wife,edis".

"Of course. I love my wife.she means more than the world to me and she has everything I want.I wasn't forced to be with her,I've loved her since I was very young".

I bit back a smile.

"Good for you then,edis" He turned to me,"what about you kylis,you said you were married,do you have a child?".

"Yes,a little girl",I answered proudly.

"How old is she?".

"She's quite young,lord ramus".

He looked at loren,"you said you're a blacksmith,but your body is of someone that has been in  a war and your hands looks like you undergone a lot of training with weapons".

"I was tortured for something I didn't do,that is why my body is like this",loren answered.

We only spent the night there and returned back home.

Loren didn't complain but from his expression,I knew he was upset.Thinge didn't go exactly as planned.

I hugged him,"Every second with you is the worth it,no matter where we go",I said to comfort him.

When it was the new year eve.Loren,I and kresna sat outside the house by the fire.we said we will keep our eyes open till we see the dawn of the new year.

I and kresna woke up on our bed.

The winter ended and loren trained kresna for three days and seven night every week.

Loren became 21.

I kept hearing of the stories of the nine lives general who disappeared with the bodies of his best friend,prince nate and the little princess, kresna.

Some said he went to paradise.Indeed am in paradise.

I was happy but at the same time worried.I really hoped that no one has his portrait in the south province.

I wanted nothing and nobody to disturb my life with loren.

They were even rumors that prince keystone was dead. We are all alive.

"Are you the physician,kylis sorock-merve",a guard asked.

"He is not here,what do you need",I asked.

"My lord is unwell and seek for his treatment,he is lord ramus".

We went to his residence while I held kresna's hand.

"This way",a guard said as he motioned his hand to a chamber.

It was a bedchamber.The guards in his room faced backward as ramus laid on the bed.

I walked with kresna to his bed and the guards closed the door.

I panicked a little and held kresna tight.

I stood beside the bed,"tell me how you feel so I'll know what to prescribe.And if it's beyond my capable,then forgive me".

He stood up immediately while he stared at me and gripped me neck immediately.

"Hold the girl",I heard him say and the guards dragged her from my hands and held her while they covered her mouth because she screamed.

He was strangling me.He threw his fist to my face and kissed me forcible on my lips.

"how dare you lie to me,you told me you were married and you had a daughter.No one ever lies to me!",he yelled.
