finally leaving unknown

It was the year 1497,the third month of the year.All stalls were to be closed for three days,trading routes were closed,all royals were dressed in black,the palace was more quiet than usual,his royal highness,the crown prince,prince kylis died.

His wife that was already sick,died from shock.The crown prince was poisoned in his residence.It was said that prince nate personal maid,prince ari,killed prince kylis with one of prince nate's poison.

Prince nate knew nothing about prince ari taking the poison ,there wasn't a good reason why she would kill him.

Before she was beheaded,prince nate asked her why she did it,she only said these words,", Be strong,Be careful,what you see isn't as it seems".

He cried,he remembered when prince kylis also said these words a year ago in the palace gardens. What really hurt him was her smile when she was beheaded.He screamed and wailed when he watched her beheaded,he had a heartache that made him spewed blood and he fainted.

From that day on,prince nate wore a black mask and never showed his bare face again.

The kingdom mourned three days for the crown prince,the royal family and the other people in the palace mourned for one month but prince nate mourned for three years which was from 1497 to 1500 on the third month.

Throughout the years he looked for ways to remove the poison in his body,but he only found a way to suppress his spewing of blood . As far he wasn't in the last stage,he was far from death. His wish was to see loren before the last stage happens.

Years passed,it was the year 1500.loren and his brothers were done in unknown.out of ninety six people that remained in stage three,only thirty six people passed.twenty four boys and twelve girls.

All loren sworn brothers didn't pass the last stage,the people who passed among his brothers were non,the oldest, seventeen years old,dibengi, fifteen going to sixteen years old and vitskit the Youngest,fourteen years old.They left the unknown in the usual way with four masters to the inn they were in eight years ago,dressed in normal clothes.

They were in the west province,the masters sent letters to the parents of the ones who passed that lived in the west.They were to go home for four days and return on the fifth day.

The four,loren, dibengi,non and vitskit sat across the table enjoying the delicacies served to them.

"1st brother,non,can you cut your beards,am oppressed",loren teased.

" I can't believe you're seventeen,you're old!",dibengi laughed.

" Ha,ha,ha",non said sarcastically.

"I miss our other brothers",vitskit looked sad.

Non placed his hand on his shoulder,"don't worry am sure they'll pass in the next two years, they're capable",he reassured vitskit.

It was night time,the four got permission to stroll but not far from the inn.

Dibengi smiled," so we're really going the palace".

"I don't know how nate,I mean,prince nate will look like now,anytime I think about when we will meet,I feel butterflies in my stomach",loren blushed.

" Oh,your prince,that you always talk about",dibengi muttered.

" He's not my prince!",loren retorted," he's a prince and a friend",he said calmly.

" Both in unknown and outside,we still hear loren talking about this prince nate,exhausting for the ears",non exhaled.

" Sometimes I even feel like I know him,I'll like to see this prince nate",vitskit said.

" My prince nate!",dibengi posed as a dramatic maiden.

They laughed.

" Will I ever have a chance with you,my prince nate",he posed dramatically.

" You're talking rubbish!",loren pursued dibengi along the street.

Dibengi bought a book from one of the book stall,"the vigour of a noble".

The four went back to their room in the inn.

"What wonderful name,am sure it talks about war,vitskit you need this type of books in your life",loren said.

"Does it have drawings",vitskit asked enthusiastically.

Dibengi grinned slyly,"of course,our youngest,come on you three ,let's read together".

Dibengi read aloud while they watched the drawings,

[Lady ambrose,do you want to feel my vigour?"]

[Of course,my Lord,I've heard of your vigour from many ladies and longed for it,she said wholeheartedly as she looked at him with deep love]

" Wait,how does fighting in war have to be with a lady looking at him with deep love?,wait give me that"loren collected the book,opened the next page and closed it immediately like he saw something frightening.

" What is wrong?",vitskit asked looking confused.

Loren cleared his throat and gave the book to non.

Non also cleared his throat",it's time to sleep,everyone to the bed".

Vitskit frowned",we haven't finished the book,what happens next?".

" The page it's empty,go to sleep",non said.

" They were both naked,his hot iron grew for her as_______"

Loren and non covered dibengi's mouth to make him unable to speak.

They all later went to bed to sleep.

" Nate,am coming home",loren said to himself in his mind as he slept and vitskit took the book when everyone was asleep.

LOREN POV

On the fifth day we rode to the capital with horses, but we didn't rest in an inn we rode straight to the palace.

As soon as I rode to the palace gate,I remembered that day, eight years ago that I saw nate disappear into the palace

I exhaled,I felt so nervous,I can't wait to meet him again.

We entered inside.

"Dibengi do you think am ugly?",I asked the worst of all people.

"Yes",he teased and laughed.

"Oh shut up" .

"What, are you worried that your prince may not like your appearance,do you need make up?",vitskit laughed.

"Your lucky, we're on horses,if not I could have hit you with my shoe",loren glared at him.

"We are in the palace,please behave yourselves",Non looked serious.

We three turned to look at him.

"The elder has spoken",dibengi teased in a deep voice and we laughed."vitskit laughs like a monkey!".

Our laughter increased,there is something wrong with the boy named dibengi.

"La la oh la la la la la",dibengi said in a funny deep voice.

We laughed again and I started feeling dizzy.

One of the masters turned to look at us and we kept quiet.

Vitskit bursted out in laughter and we laughed again,then he fell down from the horse.

" Vitskit,are you okay?!",we asked.

" Am as strong as a rabbit",vitskit smiled as he climbed the horse again.

" Vitskit,I know you're not a bright scholar but can you not put us to shame in the palace,it is as strong as a lion not rabbit", dibengi said

" Says dibengi, who spelt my name as vidgeskit",vitskit laughed.

We saw some warriors coming to us and one of our masters told us to halt and we halted,"everyone down" .

We came down and the guards took our horses away.

We walked to a place called the palace court,it was very large.

Our master told us to halt again and he turned to us,"we are going to greet his majesty,the ministers and princes will be there.pleaae don't put us to shame,let's go".

We followed him and walked inside.The ministers stood left and right while we walked in the middle.I also noticed some who were standing by the left and right in front but were dressed differently,I assumed them to be the princes.

Three by the left and four by the right who looked younger apart from the one wearing mask,I couldn't tell if he was also very young too.He wore black,even his rich embellished cloak lined with fur was black,who wears cloak while everyone is hot?.

We went on our knees and bowed out heads to the floor",greetings,your majesty,long live the king".

"His majesty said you can stand!",we heard his royal advisor spoke.

We stood up.

The king looked scary,I tried my best not to look at him in his eyes,if am caught,I may be sent to prison.

I wanted to look at him again but he caught me.

"You,there".

I trembled,went in front of others and went on my knees,with my head on the ground,"forgive me your majesty,I have done a grave sin!".

I was trembling,heating up,I felt like I will die,I sweated profusely.

"What is your name?",the voice of the king made me tremble more.

"Lo..lol..loren..so..so..sorock,your ma.. majesty",I stuttered in fear.

" Are you a stammerer?",the king asked again,I almost cried but I held it in.

I tried to summon courage," no..no..your..your majesty",still trembling.

" Then what is your name?!",The king yelled.

His loud voice made the fear jump out of my body," loren sorock,your majesty!",I yelled.
