The fox boy walked out.

Fox boy's eyes widened.

"I recognize you by those fox masks. I know the grain of those masks that urokodaki carves. They're carved the same way as the tengu mask he wore. Did he call it a 'warding mask'? I ate them all because of the masks they wore. They're all in my stomach. It's like urokodaki fed them to me! Heh heh...heh heh heh heh...that girl-brat wept and grew angry when i told her that. Heh heh heh heh...soon her movements got shaky. Heh heh heh! THEN I RIPPED OFF HER ARMS AND LEGS!"

As soon as the demon said that, the fox boy ran, cutting off all the hands that the demon was aiming at him.

Then he got thrown into a tree.

The boy hoshi was protecting took this as an opportunity to run away.

The fox mask broke, and the boy's head started bleeding.

"Why do I have to protect everyone?" hoshi muttered.

She stood in front of the boy, and held her sword.

She started to cut off the hands that were coming at them.

Then a smell came from the ground.

The boy woke up and they both jumped.

And there were huge hands coming from the ground, as if hell were trying to drag them back into the ground.

Then an arm aimed for the boy.

He couldn't dodge it in the air.

So instead, he headbutted the hand.

Then he headbutted it again.

Hoshi ran up to the demon and stabbed it.

Then the boy ran up as well.
