The boy was edging closer to the demon's neck.

He looked at the demon as it dusted away.
There was a smell of melancholy in the air.
He walked up and held his hand.
The demon started to cry.
Then it disappeared.
The boy turned back to hoshi.
"Are you okay?" he asked.
Hoshi nodded.
"That was some demon…" he continued.
"HEY HOSHI! WHOS YOUR NEW BOYFRIEND?"
She flinched
"Kage, shut up…" she muttered
"Oh! Hello! I haven't introduced myself...right...um, i'm Tanjiro Kamado, but please, address me just as Tanjiro" he smiled.
" 'Sup Tanjiro, the name's Kage Yami and this is my sister, Hoshi Uchu...i dunno why she isn't speaking like she usually does"
"I'm not in the mood to speak…" Hoshi said
"Ah, nii-san and her emo modes" kage laughed

"Eh? Only 11?! We started with over 50!" she yelled.
"Well, that's the price you pay for fighting with demons" netsu told her
Kage looked at netsu
"Yep they seem to be dead as dead could be"
"Welcome back." the black haired girl said
"Congratulations. I am glad you are safe" the white haired twin
"Die...i'm gonna die, die, die, die. Even though i survived here in the end, i'll die" a yellow haired boy said.
Hoshi stepped away from him.
"So? What am i supposed to do now? Where's my katana?"
The boy had a mohawk and a scar across half of his face
"First we will provide you with your corps uniform. We will take your measurements and engrave your rank." the white haired girl said
"There are 10 ranks. Kinoe, kinoto, hinoe, hinoto, tsuchinoe, tsuchinoto, kanoe, kanoto, mizunoe, mizunoto." the black haired girl said
"Where's my katana?" scar boy asked
"Today you will choose the ore for your sword. Then it will take up to two weeks for the katana to be finished."
"Then we will assign you a kusagi crow."
A murder of crows flew to them.
"Oh no its a murder!"
Nobody laughed at kage's pun
"Aw come on"
"Kage...this is not the time" hoshi said
A crow landed on her head.
"I always wanted to try crows"
"DONT-"
She grabbed the crow
"I'm naming you mika"she said
The crow pecked her forehead
"ow!"
"My name is Makoto, and i'm a guy!"
"G-good for you?" she stuttered.
"C-crows? But this is...a sparrow" lemon head said
"Kusigi crows are generally used for communication, but not always" the black haired twin
SMAK
The group turned to scar face who had just hit his crow.
"I don't care about crows!" he yelled
He grabbed the head of the white haired girl and hit her head on the pole.
Not strong enough to knock her out.
"KA.TA.NA! I WANT MY KATANA! AND I WANT IT NOW! A DEMON SLAYER CORPS KATANA!! A COLOR CHANGING KATANA!"
"Genya! Let her go before i tell your brother" netsu said
"Tell him whatever you want! I don't care, you bi-!" genya boomed
He was stopped by tanjiro grabbing his arm
"LET GO OF THIS CHILD!! IF YOU DON'T I'LL BREAK YOUR ARM!!" tanjiro yelled
"Huh? Who're you?! Just you try it!!"
KCRIK
"GAH!" netsu and lemon head yelled
Tanjiro let go, and genya staggered back, holding his now broken arm, and wincing in pain
"Are you done talking? Then come over here...please choose the ore for making your katana. You choose the ore for yourself...the ore for the sword that will kill demons...and protect you."
