Zion dashed towards Historia after regaining awareness. "What happened?" he asks, worriedly looking into her eyes.
Historia looked at Vivian, causing everyone to look at her. Trim tightens his grip on Vivian, sensing that she is still trembling in fear. "We need to take the crown princess to her home. It might have caused her trauma about what happened," Historia says seriously, which is unusual for Zion. She always smiles in everything else, but her expression is serious now.
"Don't tell me what to do, Lady Historia," Trim says, still hugging her. Historia was surprised by the crown prince's reaction to her statement.
"Oh, It is not meant for you, Your Highness. I am asking for her maids," she replied. Trim bit his lower lip and instructed the maids and knights to take Vivian home. Before she leaves, Vivian and Historia exchange glances, but Historia simply smiles at her.
Following the treatment, Historia stood up as the princess walked home. Trim responded immediately with follow-up questions. "Stop, let the lady rest first," Zion commands, halting the prince. He clicked his tongue and looked at her.
"We will investigate what happened here, Lady Historia, and if your name comes up as the one who did this again, I will not let you live!" Trim exclaims, looking around the shop. He told them to arrest all of them and then leave.
"Hmph! How could the prince say that? Lady Historia was the one who was attacked, not the crown princess!" Sally exclaimed, clenching her fist.
"Be careful with your words, Sally. If the prince can hear you, it will cause you trouble," Historia says, and Sally nods in agreement.
"Yes, My Lady. I am sorry," she replied, and Historia simply smiled.
"I will take you home now so you can rest. Let us discuss what happened tomorrow," Zion says, and Historia nods.
Zion uses his teleportation card again, bringing them back to the mansion's gate. When Redam saw his sister, he rushed over and hugged her. "Are you okay? Is everything about you fine? When I heard the news, I was worried about you!" Redam asks her, looking at her body to investigate. When she sees Historia's arms, he tears up.
Historia laughs after what she saw. 'Redam adores his sister; the real Historia is extremely fortunate to have him,' Historia reflected to herself.
"I am fine, brother. It's just a scratch," she explained. Although it is not.
Redam let out a deep sigh. "I need to leave now; I'll return tomorrow for an investigation because Crown Prince Trim will do anything to find the culprit—" Zion couldn't finish his sentence when Historia spoke.
"You don't have to. We can discuss it today; I didn't want to talk about it earlier because those two were there. It's kind of weird, but there's something I saw before that happened," she explained herself, prompting Zion to look at her and agree.
"Who is she?" Redam wonders when she notices Sally standing beside Historia.
"Pardon me for not introducing myself, My Lord! I am Sally, the lady's…maid," Sally apologized and she then bowed her head.
"My personal maid, brother," Historia said, gazing at her. Sally smiled sparingly, and Redam nodded his head.
"Welcome to the Crane's residence, Miss Sally," Redam welcomed her which made Sally smile widely.
The three of them now walk toward the lady's room. Duke Crane was not present, so he probably still does not know what happened to her daughter. Sally was introduced by the Crane's butler, Dante. Historia told him to give Sally her own room and an outfit to wear. Dante agreed to the lady's request and helped Sally personally.
Redam managed to treat her wound. He even reprimanded her for lying to him. Her wound is so deep that she could lose blood; it's a good thing Sally knows how to administer first aid. He used his water magic to heal Historia's wound, and it was gone in an instant.
"Actually, I don't know how to explain this, but," Historia initiates the conversation and pauses for a moment as the two continue to listen to her. "The time stopped for a moment, and the only ones who could move were me and the man I beat," she continued, surprising the two men. Their eyes widened, and you could see how confused they were about what had happened.
"The time stopped? Is there in history that there's something like that happened?" Redams questioned himself and placed the back of his hands to his chin, indicating that he was thinking.
"Y-yes, brother," Historia stuttered and slowly nodded her head.
They were in the living room, sitting on the couch, and in front of them was a table filled with delicacies and three cups of tea. Historia takes a sip and still can't believe how good the tea was in this world, and even better in her own.
"Maybe they used something like an item that hasn't registered from the empire? If it is, we should have known about that item for a long time and we could been able to use it but it is not. However, that idea may not be supported by the crafters, especially the empire's wizard. It is very dangerous, that kind of item that can manipulate time," Zion went on to say.
"But it is not that easy to make it you know, an item that could manipulate time? It is impossible to be made unless it was made by the wizard itself," Redam said in support of Zion's claim.
Historia quickly puts the cup on the table and interrupts their discussion.
"Oh, I forgot. I was in the library a few days ago. I read something about our descendants that some of them can summon their spirits, the spirits of each of their elementals. However, they can't prove their theory about that. I also learned that spirits can have so much power than the wielder of each elemental," Historia explained.
"I also read about that, it's been years already since that theory from the Brimrock books but still they can't find a proof or, they don't want to talk about it," Redam went on to say.
"Why don't they want to talk about it?" Historia inquiries, but Redam simply shrugs his shoulders in response. Historia quickly thought of something. Probably, she should try her best to search for something about it.
And because her stepmother's birthday party is coming up soon, she may be able to meet the Marques Brimrock or any of the family members. She should do her best to gain their attention and trust; she wanted to learn more about it.
"But, how did you beat the man?" Zion interjected, eager to broach the subject, which he finds unbelievable! Historia, how did the lady protect herself despite not having any sword training or mana?
"She beat the one who did that to her?" Redam asks surprisingly and looks at her sister.
"Oh, that. I was always keeping an eye on the knights while they were training and copying their moves. I also bought a book that taught me how to protect myself. It was a secret at first, but this time I needed to use it for my protection," Historia explained, and the two men were able to get her statement made her let out a small sigh.
'I don't want to be killed again; I need to cherish this second life that the god has given me,' Historia thought to herself.
"That was astounding of you, that you could study without a tutor or a master to teach you?" Zion asks her again, but Historia is unable to respond to his questions, so she simply laughs shyly at his statement.
"Why did you open this topic anyway? Are you thinking that a spirit was the one who did it?" Redam asks Historia. Quickly bring back what was the main topic. She paused for a moment and simply looked at the two. She is still unsure if it is safe to tell them, but then she decides because she thinks that maybe she can't trust both of them. Especially her brother.
"It's because I did it," Historia explained. The two raise their eyebrows at what they've heard.
"Did what?" Redam asked again surprisingly. Zion just waiting for her answer.
"The Water Spirit came, he suddenly got out inside of me and then looked at me. He speaks something but I can't understand then suddenly disappeared," she goes on to say. "It was a language that we don't know. His eyes were blue and sparkling like a sapphire gem, his body was cold and was made of water. He tried to reach me but he can't, maybe because I don't have any mana for him to be able to touch me, that is my theory."
Redam and Zion were shocked and unable to process what they had heard. "What did you say?" Redam asks as his eyes widen. "You saw the Water Spirit?" Historia nods her head in response.
