CHAPTER 5

Shen Mu and Cheng Xiao ran into the hospital straight to the reception.

"We are looking for Tang Zi Wei." Cheng Xiao asked while panting.

"She is in ward 405." The reception answered back.

"Thank you so much." They both said and ran to where room is.

"Dad how is Mom?" She asked as soon as she caught her breath.

"The doctor is in there with her." Her father replied while looking at the door. 

The door opened and out stepped out a young-looking doctor.

"Doctor how is my mother? Is my mother fine? Is it serious? Was the accident really bad?" She fired questioned immediately.

"Hello, I am Hu Yitian I am the attending doctor for your mother..."

"Yes, doctor is my mother alright?" She cut him and asked about her mother straight away.

"Your mother had a minor accident; her left foot is sprained, and she should stay off it for a while." Hu Yitian spoked accurately.

"Thank you so much doctor!" She said and walked around him and went into her mother's ward.

Hu Yitian stood there motionlessly; this was probably the first time that a woman just walked past him without asking him anything. On any occasion where he meets a woman they are always captivated by his looks and just go on and on about how he is perfect. Sometimes he would need to make an excuse as to why he has to leave the blind date halfway, but giving his profession as a doctor he can always use the same excuse of emergency to run away.

"Hello Hu Yitian."

"Cheng Xiao it's good to see you, but what are you doing here?" Hu Yitian asked when he turned to look at her.

"She is my godmother."

"How is my friend anyway?" He asked.

"He is good isn't he your friend why are you asking me?" She fired back.

"Feisty as ever, now I know why you are the only one who can manage him."

"Is that supposed to be a complement?" 

"You can take it as one."

"I should, shouldn't I?" She asked to which he nodded.

"How is she really?" She asked seriously in the direction of the ward.

"She is ok but as I said she sprained her left foot. She should not try to walk on it yet, so she can use crutches in the meantime till her foot is better."

She nodded and bid him farewell and walked into the ward.

"Auntie!" She said childishly and walked to hug her aunt.

"Aww my baby come here." Her aunt responded and opened her arms for her.

"I was so worried when I heard about your accident." She said and rested her head on her aunt's shoulder.
