HENRY' POV

My eyes were bloodshot, and my mood wasn't good and I'd barked at anyone who got close to me or probably provoke me in any way.

Father and mother had been restless and mother looked more panicked than ever.

I watched mother this morning, while she was taking care of the pups and spending time with them, the smile that would usually grace her face had disappeared.

Father's mood could be counted as neutral from my point of view, only he has the capability of determining how he felt inside.

Klara running or disappearing from the pack has never been heard of, while analyzing the situation, she left her room at night and the guards on standby said they felt something pressing on their muscles invisibly Ann's they couldn't move.

And they said she seemed like she was being chased by something.

"Henry, we've found a lead." Micheal mind linked me.

"Where?" I asked back.

"Somewhere around Shadow Moon's Pack Groove." The moment I heard it, my stomach literally dropped.

"She might've encountered someone here, but the other scent seemed unfamiliar." I grunted at Michael's last words.

"I'll be there." I disconnected the mind link and connected to my father.

After getting father's permission, I growled and shape shifted into my wolf form.

The groove is a dangerous place, one is said to have hallucinations after stepping inside and your wolf would be tortured for five days, before the pain subsides.

I stepped into the entrance and met Micheal and Hilary who were also in their wolf form.

The groove ahead of us was dark and one won't be able to see if they're not alphas, betas, and gammas. Omegas Are excluded because of how empathetic they could be and they might die entering the groove.

Most Packs operate in different authorities, there is the Alpha, Beta, Omega, Gamma, Delta, Squadrons, Scouts, ordinary pack members, e.t.c.

So everything follows hierarchy. Some packs don't have Gammas, as they are quite a rare species.

My vision was sharp and I would be able to see no matter how dark she is.

Klara has always been a gloomy kind, very antisocial and easily jealous. Before the tremendous change in hee character, she had been fawning over the alpha of the Silver moon Pack.

There is not a day she won't over dress, just to please a man who wouldn't look at her twice. Alpha Augustus has never been the one for her. She just never listens. Her behavior has gained her more hate and she wouldn't learn from all the embarrassment she faces.

She is my sister, and I'll always watch out for her. In the past I would normally fight a duel with Augustus. I really hate how he took Kara's time, how he always manages to captivate her attention and make her succumb to his will. With his never fading arrogance that stemmed from their past victorious experiences in war, Augustus has been arrogant through and through.

There was a time I felt the strong urge to eliminate him, but I couldn't because my stupid sister is in love with an arrogant and stupid Alpha.

But after the ball party held by the Silver moon Pack, Kara changed.

It all started when she said her name wasn't Kara but Klara. Including when she used strange fighting skills to defeat Janet. Although she won by chance, using Janet's distraction, it was still a win. I remembered the deep rooted arrogance and the superiority she exuded on the training field, it's the kind of aura every Luna would possess.

It was at that moment that I suspected something was wrong. The new Kara that I've been witnessing after that morning, can never be intimidated. She even dared to disrespect and fight with me. I smirked at the memory.

The strong deep rooted deviance I noticed in her eyes can't be obtained in one day…

I remembered the way the healer stared at me that morning, his eyes fluctuated, and my hunch told me that he's hiding something big from us.

A truth that might change everything.
