Presence bothering

"Our guards are already keeping an eye on his every move"

Dominic had to change his entire appearance in order to catch the culprit. Taking the look of a common villager he enter the east side village along with his royal guards who had also changed their disguise.

"Make sure not to get caught. I want him alive" he whispered in a low voice hinting the guards to split around the village and act like commoner.

Dominic made sure to spread his guard all over the place, he knew there will be more people who must be hiding in disguise just like them. The man who had made the weapon was someone who was very skill person. He made the weapon in such a way that it pierce inside his skin so deep that reached his bone.

He was walking with Frederick watching at every shop in the market when their eyes caught his guards standing outside a particular shop.

Walking towards him, the guard immediately recognized his King and the head of the knight as he bowed his head in respect.

"Did you find were he is?" Frederick was the one who went ahead and asked.

He was confident that his guard would not waste his time standing outside a shop if he is not suspicious about it.

"Yes commander...I have been following the man until he went inside but.." he stopped contemplating on his words.

"But what?" Dominic fierce voice scare him to speak any further.

"Your Majesty the man have not came out after he went inside" he said lowering his head down.

Without wasting any time, Dominic barged inside the weapon shop when he sense something was not right.

"What was he wearing?" he asked the guard who was keeping eyes on the man.

"He wore a white tanned shirt with black pants" listening to him Dominic scroll his eyes in the shop but couldn't find anyone when a smell caught his attention.

"Hey you just barge get in" the owner of the shop tried to stop him, but his words died when he was banged on the wall by the guard as he growl making the owner fear.

Dominic kept walking down the stairs inside the shop when the smell became so strong until he reached to a secret door from where the metallic odor came.

Kicking the door with one knock, he opened it with a bang. The room was dark and the foul smell hit his nostril making him disgust. Entering the dark room he tried to reach the smell when his leg hit on something. Looking down he found a body lying lifeless with blood flowing from his stomach.

"He is the same man" the guard who was following his king recognized the body.

"Get the owner" he instructed.

Following his order, Frederick went and brought the owner who was now fearing the people in front of him. Their powerful aura made him realize that the people were not ordinary one, but someone from influential background.

"How did he die" Dominic voiced as calm as breeze, but the person who was kneeling in front of him was shivering under his fierce gaze.

"I-I don't know.." the man stammered watching the body full of blood in front of him.

"You don't know?" he asked when the man shook his head in denial.

Dominic was trying to go easy with him not showing his ferocious side which would make him pee his pants. The man was already on the verge to faint and barely able to keep his eyes open as the world around him started spinning.

"I don't know who he is" this time the man cried making them leave him.

If he were to know who was the man lying inside his shop, he would have blurt out in fear, but the way he was constantly denying his question only made them retreat back.

Frederick was loosing his patience as the man was giving them hard time to control their anger. The man who was lying lifeless was none other than the man who stab Dominic, but now with him dead they had no other clue about who had ask him to kill the lycan.

He was about to punch the man when one of their guards came running," Your Majesty, he doesn't know him... the owner of this shop is someone else" the guard who had been in the village before the kings arrival knew the owner of every shop.

"Then why was he sitting on the counter" Dominic attire drastically changed dropping the temperature around them. He was trying to be calm but now he was loosing it.

A mere human fooled them and even killed the man whom they were looking for. Was there someone who already knew about their visit? If that was the case then it means their every steps were watched silently.

"Lets leave this place.. we have been keep eye on" Dominic instructed the guards to ride back as it was of no use to stay here.

If they knew that Dominic and his guards were searching the man, then it means they know his every steps. But the question was how?

It was already evening with Ava being again in her room. The whole day went in a blur with her enjoying her time with the two bundle of joy whom she met in the morning.

Faith and Hope were really most cute girls she had an encounter with, they were both so intelligent that even she felt she had very less knowledge.

She didn't remember how her whole day went so smoothly without her getting bored even for a second.

Ava was busy recalling her whole day, she felt so happy to spent her time with the girls forgetting about Dominic. But now that she was back inside the room again, his absence started to bother her.

"I really need to clear my thoughts about him. That man is capturing my mind" she muttered and turn only to find Agatha putting lilies in the vase kept on the side table.

"How did you know these are my favorite?" Ava walked to the side table taking one flower in her hand and putting it in the vase.

"His Majesty had asked to bring them from the neighboring kingdom. They have just arrived" her reply shocked Ava.

"What?"

"Yes your highness.. this flowers are not planted in our kingdom so his Majesty have order from the other kingdom"

How did he knew she loved lily? She don't remember if she had talk with him about her favorites.

"He just ordered them for me?" she again asked and Agatha nodded her head.

"Not only ordered, but his Majesty have asked the gardener to plant them in our royal garden so whenever you feel like watching them you can go and have a walk in the garden" her words made her froze for a second.

"Why she didn't knew about it" her thought were interrupted when she heard a knock on the door as a knight came inside to inform about Rose arrival.

Entering inside her room chamber, Rose was greeted with the smell of fresh lilies that bloom inside the room giving cool vibe..

"Wow lily" walking to the two ladies who were busy putting them in the vase she stood admiring the flowers than were being placed.

"I didn't knew Dominic gave you the permission to keep a flower vase in the room" Ava looked on her words, did he not like flowers, she thought...

"He is really changing, the man was hated to even smell any flower was now having flowers and only flowers in his room.

Ava gave her a confused look, she was herself surprise by her words when she heard he didn't like flowers.

"What??? You didn't knew your husband hate the smell of flowers" she went ahead and help them in their work.

'So he only made them put her because she loved them' Ava didn't knew what she should feel happy or nervous. She herself was not understanding why he was caring towards her even if she would not talk with him properly.

'Did he really mean his words when he said her to give this marriage a chance' her thought went to the time when they were out on the horse ride.

'But was she really ready' she thought her mind and heart were saying opposite thing but his small gesture towards her made her heart happy overshadowing her mind.

"He just kept his hate aside for her sake" she thought as her heart started to miss his presence again.

Her mood turn gloomy as her mind again went on thinking about," but he said he would be out for days" she thought.

"Are you missing him?" Rose asked her when she saw her spacing out.

Ava was snapped out by her thought when she heard her words, but before she could reject her head nodded in yes,' shouldn't my head nodded according to what I think' she cursed herself making both the ladies smile at her.

"Don't worry he will be back soon until then you have my company" Rose cheered her mood bring her back to her normal self.
