"D-Dom… L-Let go… I can't… b-brea~" Sasha's words were strained, her voice barely a whisper as she struggled to draw in air.
She was on the verge of losing consciousness when Dominique returned to his senses. He hastily released her from his tight grip and stepped back.
Gasping for air, Sasha stumbled on the floor, her hands clutching at her throat as she fought to regain her breath. Panic flickered in her eyes as she struggled to recover from the suffocating grip of Dominique's hold.
"How could you do this to me, Dominique? I know you are mad… but, were you trying to kill me?" Sasha asked him in disbelief.
Dominique's intense gaze bore into her, void of any emotion. There was no remorse in his heart for what he had done to Sasha. Instead, it clenched with the pain of her betrayal and deception.
"Why did you do it?" His voice was stern yet surprisingly calm. He was trying to control his rage to prevent him from hurting Sasha.
