Not just one, but three?!

Moriko had become so engrossed in the virtual world of her game that she had lost track of time completely. The hours had slipped away, and what was supposed to be a quick gaming session had turned into an all-nighter. She had been having so much fun that she hadn't even noticed the clock ticking past midnight.

Finally, as the realization of the time dawned on her, Moriko glanced at her wall clock, her eyes widening in shock. It was 1 am, three hours past her usual bedtime. Panic surged through her as she knew she had to be up early for work the next day.

Wasting no time, she scrambled out of her gaming chair and reached for her phone. Her heart sank when she saw the notifications: 54 messages and 23 missed calls, all from her sister Mariko. Moriko's heart pounded as she immediately dialed her sister's number. However, before the line connected, Moriko ended the call. What was she thinking? It was already wee hour. And calling Mariko would surely disrupt her sleep. So, Moriko quickly sent a text message to her sister instead.

"Mariko, I'm so sorry! I lost track of time while gaming. I'm okay, but please call me back as soon as you can. I love you."

With the message sent, Moriko rushed to her bed, though her thoughts were consumed by worry for her sister and the consequences of her late-night gaming session, she fell asleep right away.

The next day...

Moriko had just risen from her bed and was about to start her morning routine when her phone and the unit's doorbell rang in unison. She reached over and picked her phone up, her curiosity piqued as she glanced at the caller ID. It was her sister, Mariko. Moriko quickly answered, her voice still laced with sleep.

"Hello?" she mumbled, rubbing her eyes with the back of her hand.

As she spoke with her sister on the phone, Moriko got up from the bed, grabbed her robe, and headed towards the front door of her apartment. She wondered who could be at her doorstep at this early hour.

"Mari, give me a moment," Moriko said into the phone as she approached the door. She peeked through the peephole and her eyes widened in surprise as she saw who was standing outside.

It was Yuki, Mariko's assistant. She then opened the door and invited her in. Moriko excused herself first and gestured to Yuki that she was on a phone call.

As Moriko continued her conversation with Mariko over the phone, her sister shared her concern. "Mori, I noticed you were up late, probably messing around with your Nexus Revo setup," Mariko said with a teasing tone. "So, I've already instructed Yuki to bring you some breakfast, and she'll give you a lift to the office as well. I don't want you feeling tired on the road."

Moriko couldn't help but smile at her sister's thoughtfulness, feeling guilty as well. "You really didn't have to do all that, Mari. But I appreciate it."

Mariko chuckled. "I know you, Mori. You'd probably just grab a protein bar and rush out the door. Now, enjoy the breakfast and don't forget to thank Yuki for her help."

Moriko then headed back to her living room to greet Yuki with a warm smile. "Thank you for bringing breakfast and for being such a considerate assistant," she said sincerely.

Yuki smiled and shrugged. "It's all part of the job, Moriko. Plus, I know how busy you and Ms. Mariko are, so I'm just doing my part to make things a bit easier for both of you."

Moriko chuckled. "Well, I appreciate it, Yuki. Thanks."

Yuki excused herself and headed towards the door. "I'll be waiting in the lobby whenever you're ready to go. Take your time."

Moriko nodded and watched Yuki leave before heading to her bathroom to prepare for the day ahead. She then quickly enjoyed her breakfast before getting ready for another day at the office, where she had more preparations to make for the upcoming event with Kenji and the Nexus Revo 4.0 launch.

----

As Moriko, and Yuki arrived at the office, they saw Mariko and her second assistant Rika waiting for them in the lobby. The two sisters exchanged a warm smile, clearly eager to catch up and have sisterly gossip about the recent events.

However, just as they were about to start their conversation, their attention was diverted by a sudden commotion outside the office building. All four of them turned toward the large windows, and their eyes widened in surprise as they saw not one but three food trucks pulling into the company premises. They then hurriedly walked outside the building.

Moriko's eyes widened in surprise as she turned to Mariko, looking intrigued. "Sis, did you arrange this?" she asked, her curiosity piqued.

Mariko raised an eyebrow and shook her head. "No, I had no idea about this. It must be something the company has organized." She glanced at Yuki and Rika, who also seemed surprised by the unexpected food trucks.

The two assistants, Yuki and Rika, clarified that they had not arranged for this surprise. Mariko was beginning to wonder who could be behind it when suddenly, the unmistakable roar of a powerful engine filled the air. They all turned to see a sleek expensive sports car pull up in front of them.

The door of the car opened, and Kenji stepped out, looking dashing in his dark blue well-tailored suit. His arrival caused quite a stir among the employees, who recognized him as the sought after bachelor CEO of Hisatomi Global Corporation.

Mariko's eyes widened in surprise as she turned to Moriko with a knowing smile. "Well, it seems like our mysterious benefactor has arrived."

Kenji smiled warmly at them. "I wanted to show my appreciation for your collaboration, and I thought this would be a nice way to do it. Enjoy the food, everyone!"

The employees cheered and applauded as Kenji joined the festivities, and the sisters exchanged glances, both touched by the CEO's thoughtful gesture.
