Your Christmas Present

Every time the tip of my finger got squeezed it felt like I would get a heart attack as Danilo's small little hand held me tightly. I could not help but marvel at the fact that during the whole process of childbirth Bobby would not stop stressing to the nurse that our Baby's first outfit had to be the small black and white cow print onesie and his little hat that was knitted to look like a cowboy hat. 

He looked so small to me. Sleeping there in his little incubator after screaming for the past hour. He had a full set of curly dark hair that had the smallest tints of blonde. I had not even seen the colour of his eyes fully yet since he had been extremely stingy to open them around me but one of the nurses insisted they looked just like mine.
