Chapter 3: Stop
Tired of struggling, I followed them reluctantly into their car. I glanced at Lucas and I was awestruck. His face was so perfect, i suddenly started getting goosebumps. "No, he's evil" I mumbled, trying to convince myself. Even if his looks were extremely stunning, I don't think I can ever forgive him.
Where are they taking me now?
"Lucas, be careful" Davis suddenly said, breaking the deafening silence.
"Hm"
Judging by the way he acts, Lucas seemed to be a man of few words. Davis should be the chatter box.
Some minutes later, Lucas drove his car into a huge compound. I peeked from the window and my eyes widned in shock. The compound should be around 300 meters, with flowers decorated around the building. The house stood tall and mighty, giving off a feeling of mystery.
Just who is he?
"Come down!" Lucas said as he got down from his car. He ignored me throughout the entire journey and I felt kind of hurt, he's my mate after all.
...
I can't follow him in there. What if I get killed?
"I'm not going to follow you until you tell me why you dragged me here. Let me go!" I said furiously as I glared at him. I was tired of it all. I just want to go back home and bury my grandmother's corpse.
"Ha"
"Few minutes ago, you were staring at my face and now you want to go?" He scoffed. "That's if you'll be able to leave here alive!"
Hearing his words, my heart hammered in my chest. What were they going to do to me? Torture me? Kill me?
Seeing my reluctance to get down from the car, he called for some guards and ordered them to drag me inside.
"No, no no.." I yelled as I struggled to break free from their hands. "You bastards, let me go!"
"Why's she resisting this much?"
"Do you know what the Alpha wants to do to her"
"What else?" A guard said as he faced the other guard. "We all know the Alpha's way of deriving pleasure.
The other guard shook his head, certain of what he was saying, "I'm sure it's more than that."
Listening to their conversation, I got scared and confused. He was the Alpha?
How could the leader of a pack be so heartless?
Turning towards the guards, I tried my best to look as sweet as possible, "Ple..please .let me go. I'll repay you guys as soon as I get out.
However, the guards laughed at my statement. Their gaze lingered on me for a very long time and I felt like finding a place to hide.
"You look so dirty. I don't know why the Alpha took interest in you. You don't look pleasing to the eye at all" I heard him say.
"Release you? Oh oh, she wants us to lay our lives for her" the second guard added as he pushed me slightly.
Oh, good lord, will I survive this torture?

Meanwhile, Lucas was having a meeting with a a few people.
Seated on a black chair, he looked elegant and perfect. He placed a cigarette upon his thin lips ever so gently. He seemed perfect even while doing the smallest things.
"I've found her. Can we start the process now?" he asked as he faced Maya.
"I'm afraid not, Alpha Lucas. She needs to develop her powers first." She said slowly as she averted her gaze, not daring to look into his eyes.
Lucas slammed his fists on the desk, shattering it completely. "You only told me to bring her here! You told me everything would be resolved as long as she's here! What nonsense are you saying now!"
Maya shivered slightly, disturbed by Lucas's actions. She understands he's one the verge of loosing it but can't he control himself in the presence of people?
The other people glared at him angrily, wondering why the Alpha was making a fuss over some girl. He refused to tell anyone his plans, not even his beta. Maya was the only one who knew the whole story but she wouldn't dare to say anything without his concent.
Some minutes later, a slender beauty walked into the meeting room proudly. Not caring about the disdainful glances she earned. Her only focus was on Lucas, and she walked towards him with a smile on her face. Dressed in a black mini gown, she looked dark and sexy. Her curves were in the right places and her long fair legs were exposed.
"Lucas, I'm here for you" Lily said slowly as she sat on his laps, swinging her hands aroung his neck.
Getting the cue, everyone got up immediately and decided to give the love birds some time. However on their way out, they couldn't help but shake their heads in disappointment. Could the moon goddess have been wrong to give them an Alpha like this?

"This place is no fun. Let's go to the bedroom" Lucas said slowly as he pecked Lily's lips.
Lily smiled in content as Lucas didn't change his behavior one bit. She heard he found his mate and was disturbed greatly by it. If he finds his mate, doesn't that mean she wound get dumped?
Perhaps they were just rumors. Who would find his mate and make plans with another woman the same day?

On reaching the room, lily locked the door immediately and walked towards Lucas. Her eyes were blazing with lust and want.
Standing Infront of him, lily was mesmerized by his beauty. His eyes seemed to be her favorite part of his face. Loneliness was all she saw and it was pulling her in. She wants to comfort him, yes, but would grant her access into his heart?
Lucas wrapped his hands around her waist and bent down slowly to capture her lips. His lips felt cold and soft, making lily moan in his mouth. "strip" he ordered.
Lily stared at him with her big wide eyes. Can't he be gentle for once? Putting her thoughts aside, she decided to remove her clothes one by one, starting from her gown.
She could feel Lucas's heated gaze on her body as he watched her take off her clothes.
When she stood there completely naked, lily shivered slightly because of the cold. Lucas didn't spare her one glance as Amelia keeps on coming to his mind.
"Why can't I get her out of my mind!" he suddenly yelled, startling lily. His once calm eyes was filled with rage and anger.
Lily stared at him and her heart shattered into a million pieces. So it's true. He found his mate.
Fighting to keep the tears in, "Who's she? Why can't you get your mind off her? I'm standing here Infront of you, giving myself to you because I love you and you're thinking about another woman?"
The air suddenly turned cold and chilly. Lucas turned his face to lily ever so gently and he pushed her to the wall. With her trapped in between, "How dare you question me?"
Lily shivered under his gaze and looked down. What had she done? There was this crazy look in his eyes that terrified her. "Run" was the only word coming to her mind but how?
"Lu...lu..Lucas, calm down okay. I don't mean it."
Lucas's eyes traced her naked body slowly and her cheeks flushed. He was just angry right now!
She wrapped her hands around his neck and decided to take the lead. Lily suddenly claimed his lips in a fiery kiss, nibbling on it slowly. She pushed Lucas towards the bed and started removing his clothes.
Her hands were abit shaky but the look in her eyes was completely different.
She removed his upper clothes and gawked at his chest. Such perfect body underneath that damn cloth! Tracing her fingers slightly on his chest, she seemed to be enjoying it.
Lucas simply stared at her wondering why he wasn't feeling anything. The kiss was bland and tasteless. Her touch didn't give him goosebumps Like before. Her naked body didn't drive him insane. He got up suddenly and held her hands mid-air "Stop"
