Hal.

He's different.

I took one look at him and it felt everything was falling into place. The first time I had seen him was when he was getting off the bus, body curved in like he was trying to be invisible but I still saw him. He was like a bright star in my darkest of days.

Jesse.

I'd had a couple of littles but over the years I've found out that they do it because of the money. I couldn't understand it. I was a strict Dom but I still took care of my little's every need. So for six months, I have been by myself and it feels terrible, like I don't even know what to do with myself, so I focus on my work.

Finding Jesse, meeting Jesse has been the best thing that has ever happened to me. He was sweet and cute, hard working and smart. He was everything and more and slowly getting to know him, was better than anything I've ever done and I own a billion dollar company.

"You really should have called before coming over." I said to Jeff, who was just smiling at me like a loon.

Jeff was my best friend and also a part of the CG/L community. We met at university and he's presently my COO. He also has a little named Danny and they've been together for a year and a half. Everyday he'd rush out of work at five and head right to the small restaurant where Danny worked as a chef.

He was a lucky son of a gun.

"Why? Where are you going?" Jeff asked, eyeing the clothes I had on. Jesse had said we were going to a causal place so I decided on dark jeans with black boots and a customized hoodie with HJ designed in a gold print in a tiny font on the upper left side.

"It's a surprise. Jesse just told me to dress casual." I said with a shrug, my lips pulled in a smile. It's like an immediate reaction now. Whenever I talk about Jesse, think about Jesse, see Jesse, I just smile. He makes me happy.

"Oh." Jeff wiggled his brows. "And when are we going to meet your little angel?"

"Soon. He's... I want him to be comfortable enough."

"You don't think..." Jeff trailed off and I shrug. I was ninety nine percent sure Jesse wasn't going to run and I was also ninety percent sure Jesse wasn't going to blab to the press. I felt sure. Plus he signed a contract.

"He's not like that." I replied as I take a quick look at my watch. I was going to run late if I kept talking to Jeff and I tell him so. He walks with me out of the house.

"How about dinner tomorrow?" Jeff asked. "Dan has missed you."

"I'll check with Jesse and get back to you." I told him. I wasn't sure if Jesse would like to have dinner or if he had any plans for the two of us tomorrow and I couldn't just make plans. We hugged goodbye and I got into my Range Rover.

I was tempted to break every speed limit to get to Jesse but I couldn't do that. That action had consequences that might cut into my time with Jesse. So I had to think sensibly.

It took a couple minutes to get to Jesse house, MGK's Roulette playing through the speakers. I didn't like his street, I didn't like how small his apartment was. He deserved castles and quiet streets and given all the best things in life and I wanted to be the one who does that. I couldn't wait for him to come stay with me. I couldn't wait for him to look for the perfect house we would live in if... and that's a strong ig, he wants to have something much longer than three months, something more permanent with me.

I have never been one to just look at the now. I didn't want someone who just wanted to be with me now. I wanted something permanent. Something special. Before I got out of the car, I grabbed the black box at the back of the car.

It was a customized hoodie that with Jesse's initials on it. Also custom made. The best for my baby. I walked over to his door and knock three times, pulling back to wait for a response.

It felt like I was holding my breath. When the door was pulled open and I laid eyes on my angel, it was like I could breathe again. I move forward and pulled him in for a hug, pressing my nose into his hair and just being.

Fuck. I missed him.

"HI." He said when we pull apart and I just couldn't. Jesse was looking up at me with big blue eyes, dressed in a lavender jumper and jeans. My gaze end at his shoe and I make a mental note to buy him new shoes.

"Hi, baby."

I watched with delight as his cheeks turn a lovely shade of red, biting his bottom lip and I just couldn't help myself. I slid my free hand around his waist and pulled him in for a kiss, soft and gentle, my hand squeezing his waist a bit.

We pulled apart a couple minutes later and Jesse takes my hand in his and pulls me into the apartment.

"I got you a little something." I said and smile when I see his gaze drop to the box in my hand. I give it to me and he looks up at me.

"Can I open it now?"

"Of course, Jesse." I said and he smiles brightly, bouncing a bit on his feet. He stops and his eyes widen.

"Oh. Have a seat. Do you want anything to drink?" Jesse asked and I shake my head. I do take a seat though and pull Jesse onto my lap, the box balanced on his.

"Go on. Open it, Jesse."

Jesse doesn't wait. He pulled open the top half of the box, peels back the papers and gasped when he sees the dark blue hoodie resting in the box, his initials on it in a cursive white print.

He ran his hands through it before picking it out of the box. I bit back a chuckle and lean forward, nuzzling his neck and peppering it with kisses.

"It's feels so soft." Jesse said. He turns his head a bit to the side and pressed a kiss to my cheek. "Thank you."

"Anything for you."

"Can... can I put it on? It looks comfy and I...um... want us to match."

The best thing that has ever happened to me. I tell him yes and he gets off my lap and makes his way into where I assume is his room. Once he was gone, I get off the couch and walk around, taking in the apartment. It looked lived in and clean. There was no tv, no book shelves and no pictures and besides the couch I had been siting on, there were two more. The kitchen with its small dining space that opens into the living room.

I take in everything, mentally making note of what he needs. I was about to go in the kitchen when Jesse walks out of the room. His hoodie looked gorgeous on him, making his blue eyes pop.

"You look absolutely gorgeous." I told him. I put out my hand and he gently slid his into mine.  I pull him closer and pressed a kiss to his forehead. His hoodie was a little bit more than medium sized. I had noticed he liked to wear a size bigger than medium and had requested that for him. The sleeves were too long though and fell towards the tip of his fingers.

Adorable.

"Thank you so much." Jesse said. "It's so soft."

I held him close and before I knew it, we were swaying a bit. I slid my hands around his waist and held him close, feeling my heart grow in size as Jesse timidly wrapped his arms around my neck, his gaze never leaving my face.

Fuck that. Jeff wasn't a lucky son of a gun. I am!

"I don't know how you do it." Jesse said quietly.

"How I do what?"

"Make me so calm yet excited?"

I loved how open Jesse was. One of the keys to making this relationship work was communication. And even though Jesse was a bit shy, he had that covered. And a little coaxing also helped.

It felt great to know I had that effect on Jesse. "You make me feel the same way. I get excited around you and also nervous, I'm only calm when I get to touch you. You're my darling."

We stayed that way for a bit and then it was time for us to go. We walked out of the house. Jesse locked the door and hands me the key then slid his hand in mine. I pushed the key into my front pockets.

"We're taking the bus."

"Or you could drive us there?" I asked as we made our way towards the bus stop. Jesse fell quiet for a bit and I looked at him. "What is it, darling?"

"I don't know how to drive."

"I'll teach you." I replied, squeezing his hands a bit. I knew there was a story there and I wanted to know but I didn't ask. I wanted him to tell me when he was ready. Thankfully I had my cards with me.

"Thank you."

There was no one else at the bus stop and we just wait and talk. I listened to Jesse talk about work and his fellow co workers and I put in my two cents here and there. It doesn't take long for the bus to come and go in. I followed Jesse's lead of tapping the scanner with my car before making our way to the back of the bus.

"Where exactly are we going?"

"It's a surprise." Jesse said with a giggle.

"Can you give me a hint?"

"Nope." Jesse said with a shake of the head.

It took us two buses and a bit of a walk to get there and I immediately knew why this was one of Jesse's favorite places. It was a mini carnival. There were three rides, a cotton candy stand, what looked like a haunted house, a house of mirrors and several stands.

"Isn't it great?" Jesse giggled.

"It is! I can't remember the last time I've been to a place like this." I said to him and he just smiles. I don't think I've been to a carnival or fair, mini or not.

I took him to the cotton candy stand and get him the biggest one they had and to my joy, the cotton candy was animal themed and the biggest was the head of a panda. The face was made of white cotton candy and the ears were made of blue cotton candy, maltesers as eyes and nose.

After getting the cotton candy, we go on the first ride. It's a tea cup one and like I've found out, everyone else besides Jesse fade out of my sight. I couldn't stop watching him, I couldn't stop listening to him laugh and giggle.

The haunted house was my favorite. Jesse seemed to jump at every single thing. He held me so tightly that I just couldn't help but feel smug and giddy inside. It was the most fun I've had in ages. We stayed for hours until finally, it was time to go.

On our way out, we passed a stand that made Jesse pause. There was a giant teddy hanging by the side and I couldn't help it. Anything my angel wants, he gets. It took two tries and a water gun to knock down the cans and when I did. I felt great, especially with a cheering Jesse by my side.

As I handed him his teddy bear, I close the distance between our lips and kissed him. He was everything I didn't know I needed and everything I wanted. He was... perfect. My baby boy.
