He ran away as the waft of metallic smell of her blood hit his nostrils. His fangs were out and he dashed out to hide his truth from her. On his way he compelled a woman in to passing Ellie a cream and gauge to treat her wound. He watched them from far. When he bought his instincts perfectly under control he came back to Ellie who was looking around.

"Hey." He said startling her in process.

"Where were you? I have been calling you from so long." She complained.

"OH sorry I didn't tell you there this old man had twisted his ankle and he was in deep pain so I was helping him out." He lied to her to which she smiled.

"It's okay. Is the old man okay now?" She asked him as she stood up wincing a little.

"Why are you wincing?" He asked concerned.

"OH I had a glass cut my foot." She replied. Seeing her in pain he picked her up in his arms bridal style and started walking.

"And yes the old man is fine now." He replied smiling at her.

As he carefully dropped her on her passenger seat he quickly sat beside her and started driving. He bought her a cup of ice cream and cotton candy on his way and stopped his car near a gold area as she enjoyed her sweet treat. He looked at her smiling. She was so innocent.

"Elli?" He called her to which hummed as a reply.

"I wanted to say you something." He muttered gaining her full attention. He was in a serious mood as he looked at her. All of a sudden she grew nervous thinking that he was going to end their relationship. She kept her ice cream cup on the car bonnet.

'I knew it. He was going to leave me. He acted all weird today.' She thought to herself as she stood straight preparing her mind to listen those words.

"I never thought I wanted to say this but being with you made me realize this." He started.

"The day I met you I knew you were different. I wanted to take things forward but was wanting to give you space."

"But today I feel that need to say you this." He took a deep breathe.

"This will change our relationship forever." He said waiting for her reaction as she closed her eyes shut for him to finish. He could read her mind and knew of her thinking otherwise. Smiling he sat on his knees as opened the box of the ruby ring he bought at the gala and waited for her to open her eyes. When she did she looked around as she couldn't see him anywhere. Perplexed she moved forward when she her knees touched his and she looked down. And there he was sitting down with a ring in his hand. She gasped sensing where this was going.

"Ellie Patrick’s will you marry me?" He asked her smiling. She slapped her hand on her mouth as she looked at him. Tears of happiness flew from her eyes as she motioned him a yes.

Slipping the beautiful ring on her finger he picked her up in his arms and moved around happily.

"I cannot believe this." She said as she looked at him. His eyes sparkled with happiness.

"I cannot believe that I am engaged." She added showing him her ring. God my friends would be shocked to know this. Clicking a photo of her ring she put it on her WhatsApp group.

Both of the laughed reading the comments and messages her friends put on it. Turning to look at him she whispered in his ear.

"I love you too." With that she gave him a peck on his lips.

"That's it?" He said as he claimed her lips for a long kiss.

Just then her phone rang and she looked at the screen.

"OH it's my aunt." She informed him picking up the call.

"Good evening aunt Celina." Ellie wished.

"Good evening Ellie. How are you?" He heard an elderly voice from the other end.

"I am fine aunty. How about you?" She asked.

"Fine. Just tired now a day." He heard.

"That's sad to hear. You should take care of yourself aunty. You shouldn't tire yourself out." Ellie told her concerned.

"Yes yes. I do but no matter how hard I take care of myself I will end up being tired. I am old now." He heard the old lady grumble softly.

"That's right but that doesn't mean that one should care less about self." Ellie retorted.

"Well. Today I called to inform you that I am coming to your city for a few days." He heard the old lady say to Ellie.

"Really. That's good."

"When are you coming then?" Ellie asked.

"Tomorrow my flight will land at 2 p.m. in afternoon." The old lady informed.

"Okay then I will pick you up at 2 p.m." Ellie said her ending the call.

"You never told me you had an aunt." Naade said as she put her phone back in her purse.

"Yeah you never asked and the topic about family never really came up." Ellie explained.

"So besides your aunt who else is there in your family?" He asked.

"Only aunt. My parents died after I was born in an accident. So basically she is only there." She replied to him.

"What about you?" She asked the same.

"No one related. I have friend who is like a family to me. You have met him already. His name is Abie." He answered.

"OH yeah. I met him on the first day of my office. He was there with you in your cabin." She remembered.

"Yes yes. So your aunt is going to live with you?" He asked her.

"Yes she always does whenever she comes here." She answered him as she sat back on her passenger seat and started driving the car.

"I hope she doesn't becomes a third wheel between us." He murmured.
