Shadows and Chakras

"What now? You were being so loud earlier. Where has your attitude gone?" Ruby said while lifting her chin up. "Please let me go. My father is the current head of the Leylin family and we are backed by a powerful organization. If I die, they are not going to let you go," the black-coated man said with a trembling tone. Completely ignoring his words, Ruby said, "Should I kill you or should I make you unable to walk?" Ruby said with a grin on her face. The young master began sweating profusely as if he would lose all his weight.

She punched forward, targeting his ribs. A bone-breaking sound came with an inhuman scream from the man. "Ruby, that's enough. Oi, fatty, you said you have a powerful family, right? Then you must be rich," Rei said while kicking his back. "Y-yeah, we are very rich," the young master said with a painful yet stuttering voice. "Then transfer 50 million poisa to our account," Rei said. Ruby untied him. "Now do it," Wicked said with a smile. "Please wait," the young master said. After a while, the money transaction was completed.

"Nice hunt, guys," Rei said with a smile.

They took the metro rail. Rei sat at the seat lazily, started reminiscing about the day, and grinned unknowingly.

As the train gently glides along the tracks, the rhythmic clacking of wheels creates a soothing backdrop to the journey. Inside the carriage, soft ambient lighting casts a warm glow, illuminating the cozy seats arranged neatly in rows.

It was 9 o'clock in this side of the city. Very few people were around, that's why very few shops were open, others were closing shut.

On their way back home, Rei noticed 8 chakras sneaking outside their ninja base. Rei alerted Ruby and Wicked. They hastened their way.

Rei made hand signs for the shadow clone jutsu. Immediately, 5 clones appeared out of thin air. "There are 5 chunin level chakra level signatures waiting outside the base. I can sense one jonin and many chunin level foreign chakra in our base," Rei said quietly.
