Chapter 29

If it was either morning or night, or which day it was, I had no idea. My eyes were heavy and my throat burns, my head hurts just as much too. I couldn’t calculate the hours I lay there, doing nothing but I couldn’t stand up from the bed. And was just there. Even when creamy came with foods. I didn’t move an inch from the spot I was.

That was why he came in and was paranoid to find me in the same spot he left me and the food he brought was there untouched.

“Are you okay, Green eyes?” He asked coming to my side. Why he was calling me that, I didn’t know and I didn’t ask. And not even knowing, I wasn’t myself.

“You’ve touched your food and you’ve been there for two days. If I hadn’t come to check on you.”

His hands went to my forehead. And he touched them.

“You’re burning up.”

“Huh?”

Does that mean I was sick? Louis had said that to mark the other time, that he was sick and was running temperature.

Was that what was wrong with me then I’ve never been ill before. So it felt strange to me.

“I’ll get the physician..”

I moved my head a little if that would be said as a nod then it was. I nodded at him and he left.

I was still hugging myself. With the covers over my body. I still had my hoodie from the day and neither have I taken my bath. I reek I know. We don’t have to talk about it.

The door flung open.

“What the fuck did she say was wrong!”

The alpha yelled. I said I wasn’t gonna call him that again. What was wrong with me. I would call him Zyair. That was his make anyway.

They ran towards me, I could hear their feet.

“She didn’t say.”

“Let me attend to her.”

“Please do, Albeit.”

Albeit seems he was the physician he talked about. Zyair came to my side and sat on the bed. I touched my forehead and sighed.

I would have slapped his hands off, he wasn’t the physician why would he touch me, he’s the reason I’m like this. He was the one who made me sick. If he hadn’t locked me up in this beautiful prison I wouldn’t be sick. If there’s anyone that should be blamed it should be him and not anyone else.

You can say, I was just looking for who to blame. But I’ve never felt this way before.

Weak.

I was never weak, so what now, was I poisoned. It couldn’t be.

The more I thought about it, the more my head hurts.

“Let me see.” Albeit scoot closer, he wanted to take off my hoodie. I grabbed his hand. No way I would let him do that. And pushed him off, with the strength I could muster. And he fell.

“Why did you do that!” Zyair thundered from beside me.

“He shouldn’t touch me or take off my hoodie.”

“How do you expect him to treat you then.”

“I never said I wanted a treatment.”

“You wanna die!”

“Who told you something as this would kill me.”

He stood up. And ruffled his hair, then paced in front of me. Creamy helped Albeit off his feet. He was not that old, probably in his late forties, how could a little push could fall him.

“It’s fine Alpha.” He bowed.

“If she doesn’t want me to touch her then I won’t. We can’t force her to get treatment.”

“So you’re saying I should leave her alone.” Zyair faced him. His eyes burning with fury. And that got me wondering why he was getting so angry over it.

“She’s a foreigner.”

“We should let her die, why because she’s a foreigner. Is that it Albeit, you have the guts to say it to my face. You ain’t scared are you?”

That was what got him shivering, he fell to his knees and held the Alpha on his feet. Begging for mercy.

“I’m sorry. I thought she wasn’t important.”

“I’m a foreigner too, creamy is too, what makes her any different from us.”

“I’m sorry, I’m truly sorry, it won’t ever happen again.”

“Where did you get that from, Albeit. Important or not, clean or unclean. It’s your job to treat anyone or anything at all!” He growled. That was when he knew of his mistake and continued pleading.

“You better get her treated, even if she doesn’t want it. You’ve to do that now if you don’t want your head off your body.”

Albeit shivers. I did feel it too, the poor man. Got scolded by his alpha, but that doesn’t mean I would let him take off my hoodie.

Zyair strode to my side again. He brought his lips down to my ears and said in a low whisper.

“Don’t you think, it’s because you’re dirty. That’s why you feel sick, try having a bath.”

I gnash my teeth. He pulled back and I saw him smiling. Talk about some mood swings.

He stare down at my tightened fist and chuckled.

“You look cute.”

How can I be sick? Cute, that man is a psycho, somebody better tell him, or I should tell him myself. He’s off it. Because I’m weak and I looked like some of the silly weak girls.

Ugh!

Unbelievable!
