We were far too early for classes on the first day of school but that couldn't be helped. All Might and Mom "overheard" me telling Kacchan how much I worry about Mom being alone and how much she obviously liked All Might they should just get married and we could all be a family. It took everything Kacchan and I had not to burst out laughing during our act and it wasn't long before there was a quick wedding and my name was changed to match theirs. He had offered to drive us to school and who would turn that down? The fact that my house was actually closer to the school than his was new information not surprising by any means but still new. Then again he was still moving things into our apartment and cleaning out his old one. Kacchan and I found our secret place without cameras and sat down and relaxed.

"Are you ready to do all of this?" Kacchan asked and I could feel his nervousness. It took a long time for Kacchan to be able to call them his friends and now he has to pretend to not even know them. With how hard it is for him to trust that people actually like him and not just his quirk that is kind of cruel. But he insisted that we had to do this so that they would actually be the same friends from before. If we change how we interact with them too much that would in turn change who they become. I understand what he is saying but that doesn't change how I feel about it. I don't want to pretend that I don't know who my friends are, but I'll still do it, for now anyway. We both know that we'll only last for so long because we are only human.

"Not really but thanks to All Might it won't be quite so hard," I blew out a slow stream of air while I tried not to work myself up again. All Might had taken us to test out where we stand on becoming heroes and surprise, surprise. We passed the Hero exam and earned our licenses with the condition that we had to "train" at UA until we were of an appropriate age. Our actual licenses and not the apprentice ones. Otherwise we were fully capable of responding in emergency events. All Might is still scratching his head on how we passed the 4 hour long written exam or how we knew how to fill out relevant paperwork but we both just shrugged it off, smiling sneakily.

Mom even asked why we needed to go to school at all if we already passed and I told her it was for a highschool diploma and to gain experience in safer working conditions. It was a fib considering what I know is going to happen in the future but on paper it sounded really good!

"Yeah, I didn't think he would actually take us up to take the test like that," Kacchan ran his fingers through his hair as he fidgeted. I looked at my watch and pointed at it for him. It's time for him to go and kick his feet up, the one part he does like. He has grown a twisted sense of respect for Iida but he still likes to tick him off. I think it's mostly because he likes to tick him off though.

"I love you," Kacchan whispered in case anyone was within earshot and I smiled at him.

"I love you too," I mouthed back and he gave me that smirk before he turned down the hallway and towards our classroom. I waited a few minutes before getting up and following him, giving him time to get settled before I arrived. Now I'm standing in front of our classroom door and I could hear some noise from here but not the specifics. Well time to get this show on the road I guess.

"It's highly disrespectful!" Iida was lecturing Kacchan who has his feet up on his desk and I couldn't stop the giggle from coming out of my mouth as I heard the all too familiar words.

"Oi Deku, come and get Glasses before I lose my fucking shit," Kacchan barked setting off a small explosion in his hands. I know that he is acting but I also know that Iida is probably on his last nerve as well.

"Oh! I know you, you're the boy that saved me during the exam!" Uraraka jumped up and both her and Iida walked over leaving Kacchan alone to breathe comfortably.

"Hello," I smiled shyly and we talked for a little bit before the bell rang and we all went to our seats. Most still conversing, everyone but Kacchan and I and we both sat up straighter when Aizawa Sensei came crawling in, still in his sleeping bag.

"Only two of you noticed me entering, so maybe not all of you would die if I were a villain," he said standing up and stepping out of his sleeping bag. "I am Aizawa, Shota the pro hero called Eraserhead," He gave his lecture but I could feel him looking at Kacchan and I more than anyone else. I wonder why that is?

He sent us to change into our gym clothes and when everyone was outside he gave the instructions on what we were doing. "You, how far could you through a ball in middle school?" He asked pointing at Kacchan. He answered while not looking impressed but I am, he must have gone through several binders from middle school to find that information because there is no way he still remembered that at 30.

"Now I want you to throw it using your quirk," Sensei handed him the ball and I saw him aim and that ball will not be coming back. Infinity, he threw it up attempting to get it out of the atmosphere and succeeded. The whole class was awed by the fact but I just smiled shaking my head, of course he would aim for the best results. Guess I should too.

Aizawa Sensei saw me smiling and pointed at me to go next which he didn't do the first time around. To be fair last time I was just trying not to make Kacchan mad.

I coated my whole body in my quirk and let it run through me for a moment before I threw the ball, quite a bit lower and I still managed to get infinity.

"Fucking show off!" Kacchan ran at me and I made a face at him before dodging to the side which only made his eyes light up as we goofed off pretending that he hated me. Eventually Sensei got our attention again by telling everyone that the one that came in last place would be expelled. Hmm, I hope that just because I'm not in last place this time doesn't mean he'll keep that promise this time. I found out around graduation that he normally expels most of his students before half the year is up. The fact that all of our class made it was a first in his career.

The test continued and Sensei ended up getting really mad at Kacchan for attacking me every single time I scored better than he did. It wasn't until after the last test that I was making silly faces at him and we were running around and around using my quirk. Red energy surrounding him and green around me, until we gave up chasing each other and started hand to hand. I don't know when Aizawa Sensei used his quirk on us, we were still fighting pretty hard when he used his capture scarf on us and I looked up to see him using his quirk. Oops.

"What part of stop do you two not understand?" He growled at us and we just looked back at him. "I even used my quirk on you and you decide to keep fighting without quirks?"

"Duh," Kacchan rolled his eyes at him. "As heroes we will have to be able to fight in any situation, with or without quirks. Just because my quirk stops doesn't mean the fight is over and I'm safe." I nodded in agreement and Aizawa Sensei gaped at us. He can't refute what he said and the fact that we are so calm now has him even more cautious than before.

"Besides it's not like we were actually trying to kill each other," I added as if we have to explain ourselves a lot. "If we were actually trying to kill each other there isn't anything you or anyone else could do to stop it. After all I would only have to poison his hot sauce bottle at Auntie's house."

"Or I could just walk into Aunty's house while she was gone and where there are no heroes around," Kacchan said while glaring at me.

"I was going for stealth because who would ever believe that I tried to kill you?" I rolled my eyes at him and he snorted before we couldn't keep it up anymore and started laughing.

"You two already knew each other?" The look on his face when he figured it out was hysterical and it took everything I had not to laugh out loud, I failed.

"Before we were even born, our mothers are best friends," I tried to explain without laughing, it is getting harder and I don't think I was succeeding in controlling my facial expressions anymore.

He decided now was a great time to drop us and I felt something in my wrist pop and winced, it wasn't until I went to push myself up that I found out just how much it hurt.

"Let me see," Kacchan helped me up and looked at my wrist only to turn his glare at Aizawa Sensei. "What the fuck? Is it your job to hurt your students? His wrist is sprained!" Just great, now he is yelling at our teacher. So much for us acting like we did the first time around. I guess that wasn't much of an option considering the change to our relationship.

Kacchan turned his attention back to my wrist, frowning and when I winced at him lightly touching it again he grabbed me by my shoulders and turned me back towards the school building and gently pushed me.

"And where are you going?" Aizawa Sensei called out only for Kacchan to snap at him.

"Where the fuck else? Recovery Girl's office," at least Kacchan isn't killing him. I should be happy that he is keeping his temper under control so well.

Most of our classmates were confused and slightly curious but no one was all that shocked. Well they have only known us for a day, so it's not like they are aware of just how violent Kacchan used to be or anything. When we told Recovery Girl why we were in her office she was still pretty confused.

"And Yagi needed someone to walk him here for a sprained wrist?" She looked at Kacchan curiously.

"No that is to keep me from getting expelled on our first day. I probably would have hit him if I stayed," Kacchan rolled his eyes taking a seat to wait for me, not bothering to give Recovery Girl a chance to either offer or send him back.

She seemed deep in thought but didn't say anything about it. She checked my wrist and confirmed that it was sprained. She healed it and wrote a note for us to give Eraserhead and sent us back. Neither of us looked at the note. We are both well aware of her personality to guess that it was a threat on his life and we didn't want to be witnesses.
