Qin Mei was awoken by the sound of her phone ringing. She mumbled softly, feeling annoyed that she had been woken up from her sweet dreams. She half opened her eyes and stretched her hand to take the phone but someone else was faster than her.

Huo Xinhan hung up the call and switched off the phone before leaning towards the half awake sleeping beauty, "Sleep more, it's not someone important", he coaxed her in a soft voice.

Qin Mei nodded in a haze and closed her eyes to go back to sleep.

This was the first time in a while that she had slept so peacefully and comfortably.

Huo Xinhan sat beside her and stretched his hand to tuck away the long strand of hair covering her eyes.

Huo Xinhan could not believe that his longtime dream had finally come to reality. His little girl was now living with him as his lawfully wedded wife! She was now his! Only his! He was going to pamper her like never before and make sure that her life would be filled with only happiness!

Last night, with her in his arms, he had slept more peacefully than always.

Huo Xinhan sat by her until an hour later when she finally woke up.

"Don't you want to sleep a little more?", Huo Xinhan asked his cute little wife as he reached out his hand and caressed her cheeks. They were so soft and delicate that they felt like they might tear off if he caressed them any harder.

"Huh? No, I'm not sleepy anymore", Qin Mei replied in a soft voice as she rubbed her eyes.

"I prepared breakfast already but you were still asleep so I did not want to wake you up. Go and wash up whiles I heat it up for you", Huo Xinhan stretched out his hand once and rubbed her head before standing up.

Qin Mei nodded and got off the bed whiles Huo Xinhan also headed downstairs.

Whiles brushing her teeth, Qin Mei noticed that almost every toiletry in the large and luxurious bathroom was indeed a couple set. Huo Xinhan was not joking when he said so the previous day.

Qin Mei could not help but chuckle, the almighty and powerful Huo Xinhan was acting so cute buying almost everything in a couple set.

How long must he have prepared for this? He seemed to know almost everything about her but she knew very little about him. One day she would definitely ask him about it.

After washing up, Qin Mei changed into some simple yet expensive black pants, white shirt, white suit and middle height black heels.

After grabbing her bag, she headed downstairs in the elevator, took out her phone and realized it was switched off.

She remembered she had received a phone call earlier but Huo Xinhan must have switched it off when he told her to go back to sleep.

He cared about her so much, was she really worth it?

Upon seeing his little wife, Huo Xinhan was completely stunned. She was really the kind of beauty he had never seen among the ladies he had met across the world. She looked beautiful in anything she wore and her beauty seemed to be more glowing after every other day.

Under his gaze, Qin Mei's entire face turned red.

Huo Xinhan pulled out a seat for her before taking his own seat.

"Ninth... Ninth uncle...I have to go to my family's company today to get back my shares which they stole from me", said Qin Mei despite knowing that he already knew.

"Hmm I know. I asked a friend of mine to take care of it for you, there's no need to go there personally", Huo Xinhan said as he placed some food on her plate.

"I know, I overheard your phone call yesterday when I came to find you in the study. I'm sorry, I did not mean to eavesdrop on you", said Qin Mei honestly.

"It's alright. You have the right to know everything about me even if it's my deepest secret. Don't address me like you just did, call me by my name. Say it and let me hear", Huo Xinhan paused and glanced at her expectantly.

"I...", Qin Mei wanted to say that she could not but upon seeing the expectancy in his eyes she decided to fulfill it, "H...Huo...Huo...Huo Xinhan...", Qin Mei muttered with her entire face and ears turning as red as a tomato.

Huo Xinhan was pleased and his lips curled up into a smile.

"Call me that from today onwards. I'll excort you to the company but like I said previously, there's no need to go in so we'll wait for him outside the company", Huo Xinhan seemed to be suggesting but his voice showed no room for discussion.

Qin Mei had no other choice but to agree to his words. With someone as powerful as Huo Xinhan, she was sure that whoever he sent was not someone simple.

After eating together, Huo Xinhan called his personal assistant, Han Ying to come over and take them to the main Qin corporation.

Han Ying stole a glance at the young madam sitting together with the big boss and noticed a bit of difference compared to the previous day.

Today she seemed much more comfortable around the big boss compared to how nervous she was yesterday.

"Have you had enough seeing?", Huo Xinhan glared coldly at the assistant through the rearview mirror. How dare him steal glances at his little wife?

"Sorry boss...", Han Ying apologized and immediately looked away.

In the Qin mansion...

Qin Mingmei sat in front of the dressing mirror and Huo Zilan stood behind her patiently brushing her black silky hair.

"Brother Huo, has my belly become bigger?", Qin Mingmei glanced at him through the mirror.

"Silly, it's been less than a month", Huo Zilan's voice was filled with pampering.

"Do you think the baby is going to be a male or a female? Actually I'll prefer a female who will be as beautiful as you and I", Qin Mingmei smiled and looked down at her flat stomach.

"I don't care about the gender, so far as it's our baby. After today, we can officially be together", Huo Zilan leaned towards her slightly and planted a kiss on her head.

"Brother Huo, I don't know what I would do without you. Unfortunately sister does not understand the love between us and is trying to separate us", Qin Mingmei lowered her head, her eyes filled with sadness.

"Don't worry about her anymore, she will not have the chance to disturb us anymore. MingMing, do you know where Xiao Mei is?", Huo Zilan comforted her and then asked.

Qin Mingmei did not dare to tell Huo Zilan about the suspicion that Qin Mei had really gotten married to a young man.

"Sister said she's married so maybe she's at her husband's home. I just hope no wealthy old man would trick her into living with him. Sister is too proud or else she could have lived here with us", Qin Mingmei sighed helplessly.

"Whatever decision she makes, she will bear the consequences. Have you prepared the gifts for my parents and grandparents?", Huo Zilan asked.

"Hmm, mom and dad helped me prepare some gifts. I hope they will love them", Qin Mingmei seemed nervous when she spoke and Huo Zilan noticed it.

"Don't be nervous, with someone as sweet and caring as you, I'm sure they will definitely like you", Huo Zilan grabbed her hand softly and comforted her.

"I...I hope so.", Qin Mingmei smiled at him sweetly.
