Chapter Thirty-Four: Past: Decisions and Surprises

"So you telling me, Lucy, Unico's best friend, tried to kill Unico," I said, not quite believing what I just heard.

"Yes," Justin stated. as he ducked another glass of Hennessey.

Justin and the nurse looked at me with some sort of resolve. They had been discussing what to do with Lucy but no one knew what was the right decision. Would we have to send her away or keep her around and resolve it ourselves?

"We have to keep an eye on her... we all know she wouldn't like it if we sent her away. We don't even know what's going on with her." I said.

"That would leave Unico's life at risk." the nurse said, standing up she walked to the open balcony.

"At least give her one more strike. Don't just kill her like she doesn't' matter. Justin, she was your childhood friend, has she ever done this before?"

Taking a deep breath he answered: "No. But I don't want her harming herself or Unico."
