Chapter Hundred & Twenty-Two: Past: Confessions (part three)

The loud sound of the gun rang throughout the room and Allon slowly pulled back, just so that he could lock eyes with Justin.

Allon stared at Justin with slight disbelief. The little light in his eyes dying as he watched Justin.

He didn't utter a word, he didn't flinch nor move himself away hurridly, all he did was take slow steps back, till he reached the wall and slowly sank down.

He placed his hands on the wound, trying to at least buy himself a bit more time, that way he could at least say goodbye to his wife and to his son. He prayed for one thing, he prayed that Unico wouldn't find out and be angry.

That the resentment wouldn't bubble up in her heart and cause her to see the worst in the world. He had seen what it could do and wished that she wouldn't get to that place. She deserved much more than that, he loved the fight that was in her heart, loved how she saw the best in everyone.
