Chapter Hundred & Eight: Past Nightmares (Two)

I heard two howls and knew that it was a signal to say they had inflicted pain. I heard another growl and wondered how long it would be till they found me. Would they kill me or Lucy or Justin or anyone else? Would they leave scars on us to remind us that this would be our punishment if we didn't follow the rules? If we didn't obey and follow what was meant to be followed.

I nearly cried out when I stumbled over a rock, spraining my ankle, covering my mouth I bit back my cry. Knowing that if I released it, I would be dead and be without my freedom. I just needed to get out! That's it!

Standing I limped as fast as I could forward, knowing that the best option I had was to try my best to get out. I needed it. I needed to otherwise it would kill me that this mission was a failure cause I let pain get the best out of me.
