Her mercy to His penitence

"Don’t do it love! Please. Am sorry I hurt you. How can I live without you? Forgive me. " The girl stood at the cross road. Tears streamed down her pale cheek as she debated between listening to his pleas or to her heart. She was tired and could no longer take any of it. He took everything from her yet she stayed until she felt that her soul was no longer alive. Each pain he caused chipped a little at her soul until there was nothing left to give. She was now an empty soul that was hanging on a thin thread. She was only breathing, but being alive never counted as living. It was time to let go. Huff's and groans filled the air as a man lay in bed unconscious. His entire body was purple and yellow where it was visible. The rest was wrapped up in gauze.

Despite how huge the bed was, he occupied the central position. His lips were chirped and his eyes closed.

A figure in a doctor's gown walked inside and began to conduct the routine check-up on him. The bandages were unwrapped, exposing healing wounds.

After some careful wiping, a fresh set of bandages were wrapped in place. The iv drip was adjusted and the empty transfusion bag was removed.

The entire room smelled like disinfectants. The doctor checked once more before walking out of the room again.

His groans didn't stop. They filled the room making the atmosphere sad and eerie.

Fortunately, no one was around to feel annoyed by them. That was before another man walked inside. His face was hidden beneath a mask with only his striking orbs visible.
