Mark ensured that his connection was secured before he gave Arya a call. The SOS message she sent was something only they knew about. 

Fortunately, the call was connected fast. The first image he saw took his breath away. Arya had Esmeralda curled up in her arms. 

The little girl was awake but stayed still. This was his first time meeting his little niece and it took his breath away. Arya smiled a little, her heart twinging in pain.

She should have sent a picture or something before. She let her brother admire her girl, feeling her heart swell with pride.
