He groaned, feeling groggy. His entire body was heavy but he managed to pry his eyes open. Where was he? Levi's gaze adjusted to the darkness in the room.

As he raised his head to sit up, he felt a certain familiar weight on his chest. He tried to recall the events of the day with no collection at all.

What happened after the call? He lowered his gaze and gently patted Arya's head. As though she was on alert, she sat upright and immediately looked around in confusion.
