Though it had been years, Jairus never forgot his military training as the muscles within his body started moving on their own, as they warmed themselves up into a straight stance, followed by a salute. "Sir!" Jairus barked.

"At ease, soldier, I'm the one who should be kissing the ground you're walking on," Rayon Chambers, the Attorney General replied as he stood in the doorway. "Perhaps, we should take this inside," the former marine turned lawyer suggested.

Jairus knew very well that the entire building had been swept to ensure the safety of such a high-ranking official of the state. "Of course, " the mechanic replied, stepping beside his sister, who remained stunned.

Jessica knew of Rayon Chambers. He looks so much taller than on tv, the mother of two thought as she drank the suited man's appearances in. Sure, she loved her husband, but she was a woman and not sightless as her mouth watered when Rayon's panty-dropping smile appeared.
