Wow that we fast... not even half an hour, So soon Mrs Reid called to inform that I was the one to fight.... great... with these supernatural beings around us, we should have our life, one trying to rob my husband, another one trying to show me who is the boss... God... it was time to meet HOD...
"May I come in Sir"
"Hai Megan, come on in... how are you, how was your entrance..."
"Sir, I am here to talk to you about that only"
"What is it... Megan"
I hesitated for few minutes and said
"Sir, I missed my entrance, I came to check when is the next exam, I have to apply"
"What... but why didn't you attend the exam... it was your dream"
"I got married, on my entrance exam... "
"Megan are you kidding me child... who will get married, on the exam"
He looked at me furiously, I bent my head and explained to him what happened, sat there waiting to get scolded by my Professor...
"Ok... done is done... no use to talk about what is done... the next entrance is after six months, so get prepared... and if you want you can come to university every day to give remedial class for your juniors who are very weak in there studies... I can pay 100 dollars every day"
"Ok Sir, I will think about it... and get back to you"
I walked out of the office and drove my car to Daniel's house... I didn't want to eat with them as I don't what new fight or trick these people will cook, so I grabbed take away on my way to my regular eating place, parked my car, took the elevator to the last floor, I rang the bell, to see Angel and her parents packed they bags and ready to leave... Daniel's elder brother walked to me and said,
"Don't take what other people say or talk... you are your master, so do what you think is correct... ok, take care"
I was flabbergasted by what he said, such encouraging words from a Reid family man... wow that was something to appreciate about...
I said my byes to them and walked up to my room, to see it was open... Jovel and Jessica sitting on the couch... I walked past them and asked Jovel...
"What's it... why are you here"
"I need your Car as I and Jessi are planning to go for a stroll to Lake..."
"Seriously... Jovel, Danny doesn't take my car... and you want to take it, and to be very clear I don't like people touching my things... So please,"
I showed him the door... Jessica was the first to get up and walk out after giving me a look...
"How dare you talk to me like that... it's just a car... and we are family can't I use your car... for few hours... "
I thought about what Daniel told... "Don't argue with anyone till I am back.."
I thought and decided to give him the keys when my mobile rang in my pocket... it was Daniel...
" Hai Danny... what's it"
"Have you reached home"
"Ya... just now... "
"Then why can't you ping me...I was worried..."
"it was that your brother Jovel is here for my car... as he wants to take his fiancee out, so I was not able to ping you..."
"Give the phone to him..."
his voice was harsh as frozen ice... I just gave the phone to Jovel and looked at him in panic, I was able to hear their conversation...
"Hello, Danny... it's me"
"What's me... why are you in my room, and what makes you think you can just walk in and ask Megan for her keys... just leave and call me from your phone..."
Jovel face was too ugly to see, he just gave me, my phone and walked out without even turning...
"Hai Danny, what did you say to him, he looks bad..."
"Nothing much, no need for you to worry, had your lunch..."
"No, I got some take out... must have now"
"why take out... go eat down "
"No Danny... it's that... that..."
I stammered to say what was on my mind, while Daniel spoke...
"Ok fine, I understand... go eat, what have you got for lunch"
"Prawn fried rice, and chicken wings"
"Ok..ok...eat, I will call you at night after all my meetings... bye"
Daniel cut the call and I opened my lunch when Mia came in...
"Hai Megan, come for lunch..."
"No Mia, I got my lunch from take out... will have here... you should go and have lunch"
"Ok...then" Mia turned to walk out I called her... "Mia..."
"what's it, Megan" she turned to face me...
"Have a taste... the food here tastes good... you should try.."
"Really, do you want, me to accompany you..."
"Ya, why not... it's a large position, it will be fine for us both...we both are the same age, and can be friends...what you say"
" Really, can I be your friend...I would love to... you know Megan, I don't have any friends... it's only Becka..."
"What about your school friends Mia"
"I lost contact with them... as you know by now, we are not allowed to go out or meet anyone outside the house..."
"Oh... then you can be my friend... I can take you to all places, I go... "
"Are you serious Megan... "
"Why do you doubt me... in our house, we are not restricted from anything, till what we do is correct"
"Okay, then... we are friends Megan"
I nodded my head, and tugged her to sit with me to eat... we had our lunch happily while talking about Daniel's family... I was listening carefully to what Mia was saying... We almost finished our lunch, when Becka walked in and yelled at Mia....
"Mia, what are you doing here with this...."
We stopped, eating and looked up to the voice, to see Becka standing there with her hands on her hips...
"Mia have you forgotten that this is the woman, who seduced our Daniel... "
Mia got up from her place and said to me
"Megan, I will come later, thanks for the meal, it was really very tasty...."
and dragged Becka... while she said
"Come on Becka... let's go, it's not right to keep fighting with her, you and all know how much Daniel adores her... let go Becka... "
"Let go... Seriously, Mia, she has even manipulated you too...."
as they both argued, both walked down the stairs... I cleared up the place and wanted to sleep for some time while thinking about what our professor said...
It was almost evening when I got up, Sun was setting into the west... the view was very beautiful, and I was drafted into its beauty, Mia came up and knocked on my door...
"Hai Megan, Brother Jack and his fiancee are here to meet you... clean up and come down fast"
I nodded my head, cleaned up myself, changed into a simple dress, and walked down to see, Jack sitting with Ellie on the couch... and said
"Hai Megan how are you, these are few things Daniel asked to deliver in your room, guide the guys please"
I turned to look... at a mini-fridge, a coffee maker and a medium-size microwave oven, I was mesmerised by what I saw... but why did Daniel send all this...
The sales guy asked me, show the place where to install all these... I showed them up and asked, them to call me if they need anything...
"Jack bro, what's all this... "
"Ask your sweet love stuck fool husband who called and asked to arrange all of this...
" But...But...why...."
Jack bro told me...
"I don't know Megan, that mad guy called me and told, to fix all these things in your room, and fill that fridge with milk, fruits, and some ready to make snacks using the microwave..."
I totally understood his care for me...
while Ellie gave me a bag and said,
"Megan, it as coffee, sugar and few ingredients for making simple snacks"
I took and thanked them, and they left... I
walked to my room and saw it was to the right corner of our room...as Daniel had instructed them to fix these things, it was well arranged like a small kitchen...
I got a call from Daniel...
"Like it... don't run around for coffee... or wake up early, sleep till you want, and make your coffee, when all you need... ok, I have asked Mr Pie to change the lock... and give the keys to you... so no one will disturb you...."
"Meg are you listening... Meg"
tears were fickling in my...as I heard him, I only said
"Danny...I Love You...."
