I park the vehicle in the underground parking lot of the hospital. It was empty, save for a lone vehicle that was parked at the farthest corner. Thankfully, that too was empty.
Throwing open the trunk, Elliott pops out, gasping for air as he did. I drove as fast as I could under the circumstances, just so i didn't find him dead and the ice cream didn't melt away.
"Sorry.. are you Okay?"
He nods as he gasps, I would say he was being dramatic but he was not, his entire face was red and slicked with sweat.
"Well, we are in an empty parking lot, what did you want to tell Me?"
He holds out one finger, as he caught his breath.
"Don't you want your friend's to hear it Too?"
"They are really busy right now."
It was true. Abby was comforting her mother, and Erin was most likely with her.
He shakes his head.
"They have to be here."
I sigh. I did not have the strength for this.
