When she saw Carey walk out of the car, Karen felt as though she could faint, and her mouth went dry as her mind went blank.
"Why are you so shocked? Don't you recognize me?" Carey asked.
"What are you doing here? Are you following me?" Karen asked after recovering from her initial shock.
" I wish I didn't have to, but you leave me with no option," Carey answered.
Val had gotten out of the car, and Angie, who had been watching through her window, went down. Carey looked at Karen and Evans, then broke into loud laughter.
"What are you doing here, Carey? This isn't funny, so I don't exactly understand what you are laughing at." Karen said.
"Don't bother. Let's go," Val said.
"Not so fast," Carey said.
"We don't have time for this. Sorry, we aren't giving you a free show. Joke on you," Val said.
