"Madeline," Xavier called, grinning from ear to ear as a mischievous idea came to his mind.

Looking upwards from her vanity, Madeline asked, "Xavier?"

She walks over to him, wondering what he could possibly be doing here.

"Who else would visit you so late?" Xavier spoke, his lips brushing against her as he pulled her closer to him like she was a lightweight.

Madeline, who was caught off guard, placed both her hands on his chest in an attempt to steady herself.

"I-uh, sorry," she apologized, lowering her head as she took her hands off of him.

"Why apologize?" Xavier asked.

Frankly, he liked the feeling of her hands on him.

Confused and hazy, Madeline looked at him questioningly, not noticing she drew closer to him by some magnetic force she couldn't fathom.
