ALEX'S POV
I was in my room, cuddled and hiding under my duvet. I purged up all my breakfast and didn't get caught luckily. My demons won't shut up and I wish I could make them stop. My phone randomly started getting more notifications than usual. I was tagged in something by Trevor.
Trevor Shepherd (@CoolGuyTrevor) - @AlexisGraceLovato lost her virginity. I always knew she was a slut.

"Why won't they stop?!" I cried out. I cuddled further into my duvet, the feeling to find something sharp and cut growing stronger and stronger by the second.
"Alex!" Mom said as she knocked on the door. "Can I come in for a moment?" She asked. I didn't say anything, I just let out a strangled sob.
DEMI'S POV
"Alex!" I said as I knocked on Alex's door. "Can I come in for a moment?" She's never been out of her room for a couple hours and I was worried. She didn't reply, but I heard her let out a strangled sob.
I walked in her room and saw she was under her duvet.
"Alex, what's wrong?" I asked worriedly as I sat on the edge of her bed. She let her head out from under the duvet and held her arms out.
"Cuddles." She stated simply, her voice cracking from crying.
"Baby girl.." I cooed as I let her cuddle into me. "Can you tell me what's wrong?" I asked gently.
"They won't shut up.." She whispered.
"Who won't shut up?" I asked as I looked into her blue eyes, which held a look of pain that she was trying to hide.
"Trevor and his friends. What did I do to them? Why do they hate me?" She asked quietly. My heart broke into pieces. My baby girl doesn't deserve this. She deserves to be happy, and to live the best life. Life isn't perfect for everyone, but I wish I could make her life perfect. I bet every parent wishes they could make their child's life perfect
"You did nothing wrong, baby girl. They're lowlife jerks who have nothing better to do than hate on a beautiful and loving girl." I said as I held her close to me. "I'll try my best to put a stop to it. Have you had the urge to cut, baby?"
"Yeah.." She spoke quietly. I worriedly grabbed her arms to roll up the sleeves of her hoodie to see if there were any fresh cuts, which there wasn't.
"I'm proud of you, baby girl." I cooed gently. "I love you." I kissed her forehead.
"I love you too." She said as she was trying not to cry.
"You can cry, baby girl. You don't have to hold anything in." I reassured her.
"I-I don't want to be weak." She stuttered. I looked into her eyes as her tears were threatening to spill.
"Let it out. Come on, let it out. You won't be weak, baby girl." I kept reassuring her. Alex turned over as she hid her face against my shirt, instantly sobbing.
"I-I can't breathe!" She screamed and cried out.
"Alex! Follow my breathing and focus on my heartbeat." I spoke tenderly as I laid her head on my chest. "In... and out... in... and out." I instructed calmly.
"M-Mama.." She choked out.
"You're doing great, baby girl." I said as she was starting to calm down. I quietly started singing.
The space in between us
