Why are you still hanging out with this woman even after getting into Sanctuary? She is a bad influence! Lucius, I know you. You are a good person; you shouldn't be hanging out with this bad woman!"
Alice still remembered the horrible things that Reina had done as the leader of a bandit group and the suffering inflicted on her victims.
Lucius still knew about all those things, but he had actively decided to forget about them. Reina's potential, abilities, and even her ability to earn him love points were enough for him to ignore all her past actions and sweep them under the rug.
This was the fundamental difference in the ethics and views of the two people.
