Chapter 3

The man let go of his collar, Calen stood still and clearly saw the standing in front of him, not knowing what to say he just shut his mouth and stared at this person waiting what will he do next.

"You don't look shock, you also don't look nervous" the man said and lit a cigarette. Calen hated cigarettes smell, while frowning he took it and step on it two times before looking for a trash can.

"Woah" the said as if his amused by what he just saw.

"What a good boy you are, my total opposite" the guy said and chuckle. Calen eyes widen as if he realize something.

"Do you work here?" Calen suddenly asked and the guy in front of him burst into laughter.

"What do you mean by I work here? can't you see I'm also wearing a uniform just like you" the man said.

"..."

"Did I scare you?" he asked, Calen keep silent.

"Sorry about that" Calen was confused at first then the guy in front of him point at his neck that made his eyes open wide.

"You bite me!" he nodded his head as if it was nothing to him.

"And now we are a pair, sounds good don't you think?" the guy once again laugh until he was satisfied.

"Do you treat this a joke?" Calen asked, he can't explain how he feels right now. he feel mad, sad and scared for the first time he thought of his future life, what will he do now? he's being paired with a stranger and his still young and doesn't achieve anything yet.

"oh.. don't tell me your about to cry?" Calen looked down and clenched his fist.

"We've been talking for a long time, I forgot to tell you my name. Flin is the name And I think I'm one year younger than you" Calen keep silent, his mind are in deep thoughts because of this person named Flin

"Geez, you sure you're an alpha? you doesn't look like one except at your height. are you 170 cm? what is your height?"

"180"

"Ohh.. I guess it wrong" Calen look at Flin even though he can't see clearly since it's getting even darker.

"right since we paired up, I have a suggestion to you"

"Let's start dating"

Calen went home safely, still in daze because of what happen earlier. He can't believe someone asked him to date, Calen felt his cheeks getting hot when someone throw a cold bottle on him.

"What was that for!?" Cadel glared at him.

"I've been ringing the doorbell and no one opened the door, goodness I'm so worried that I thought something happened to you and went I finally open your fucking door all i see is a person who knows what he was thinking. did something happen to you?" Cadel said as fast as she could.

"What brings you here?" Calen asked not listening to his sister's complain.

"To check on you, Glen called that you went home alone but then he saw your apartment empty and he got a called from aunt Nela so he called me and Delic" she explained it not even stopping that she almost run out of breath.

"Anyway i will sleep here" she said and sat down feeling at home.

"You can't!"

"What do you mean by I can't?"

"Just.. not today okay" Cadel was thrown out of the apartment, too stunned to even say something.

"...." Calen.

Cadel and Delic who went to his apartment early in the morning and drive him to school. Calen was speechless. Glen took a ride with them so he won't bother walking towards the campus. Cadel and Glen even fought who will seat in the front, well Glen won and his victory smile didn't faded until they reached the school gate.

"Hi babe" Calen got down from the car and a gentle voice of a man was heard from his back.

"........" Cadel, Glen, Delic. Calen ear's slightly red as he look down feeling ashamed.

"Who?" Glen was the first one to react. Cadel, Glen, and Calen are on the same height so the person in front of them was only a height of his shoulder.

"You.. " Flin frowned and clung onto Calen's neck.

"Why didn't you pick me up? I will really get mad at you"

"I don't know your address" Calen Answered honestly. meanwhile the three person doesn't know how to react.

"Nevermind, just walk me to my school building" Calen said his goodbye to them.

"What was that?" Cadel asked

"Maybe his lover" Glen answer her.

"Is he the one who bite him?" Cadel asked again that made the two to look at her, she give them a 'What?' look.

"Look after them" Delic whispered to Glen.

"You really are bossing me around these days, hm?" Glen said and looked at Delic.

"Your his best friend, of course I'll ask you to-" Delic didn't finished his word.

"Exactly I'm his best friend, not a bodyguard. and it's my own choice to look after them or let them be" Delic face darkened, this brat is really hard to handle.

"Tell me what do you want?" Glen frowned his eyebrow hearing this.

"You know what? I really hate it when your like that."

"What do you mean?"

"Being overprotective to your brother, I might actually think you like him more than that if you continue this but then i remember Cadel is also like you" Glen took a sighed as if he owns all the problem in the world.

"See ya"Glen said and left them without any word, he didn't even looked back.

"Idiot!" he cursed at himself.

Flin Happily run off from his classroom, it's already time for lunch since their cafeteria is still at renovation they have to eat at the other buildings. Flin stopped with he turned to the right, there his back was lean on by the wall and his arms are crossed in front of his chest. ah it's Calen's friend. Flin slowly walked passed him.

"You" Glen called. Flin played innocent and looked around before pointing his self.

"I came to talk to you" Flin looked at Glen confused.

"Is it because of what happened earlier? I'm sorry about that"

"No, it's about what happened 2 weeks ago" Flin's innocent look become serious for a moment that Glen thought he saw it wrong.

"What about 2 weeks ago? i can't remember we encounter, this is the first time we talked"

"Do you know Calen is my friend?" Flin nodded his head.

"He told me" what a silly question, it's obvious that they are friends. even in their building and others also thought that they are lovers.

"Then did he also told you, that he was bitten by an omega?" Glen wasn't supposed to say this but his suspicious, and this is the first time Calen is closed to someone from the other building.

"H-He didn't say anything about bitten or being mark" Flin said and become worried.

"Forget what we talked about" Glen said and leave not wanting anymore conversation.

"heh, there's someone who is sharp. it's hard to act innocent huh" Flin looked at the corner of the other side of the wall.

"You heard?"

"Why do you want it to be hidden?"

"It's for our safety Calen"
