Chapter 2

Glen came back to the room with a water and a medicine in his both hands and while his bag on his back. Glen stopped in front of the door noticing it's now lock from outside. he become anxious and hurried inside, on the side he saw his Best friend unconscious. laying down on the floor hugging his own bag.

"Calen" he called but there's no answer from him. he felt something isn't right. Glen made Calen drink the medicine and guide him to sit properly.

Glen's eyebrows frown seeing the blood stain, the window is open wide a refreshing wind blow came inside touching Glen's face. he become more anxious by thinking about it.

"Calen wake up! tell me what happened!" Glen shook him but he'll just moan slightly as if not wanting to wake up from his sleep.

"Fuck it!" Glen cursed to himself.

Glen looked at the sleeping Calen, his breathing is now normal but still in his rut. when he brought Calen to his house he saw a bite from it's neck. Glen still don't know if it's an omega or an alpha a girl or boy but the biggest problem is his best friend got bitten.

Glen stood there with a serious face, his head is already hurting from thinking of what happened earlier. while in deep thoughts two person came in, anxiety was seen in their face.

"What happened!?" the man asked.

"Delic calm down, we can talk this out when Calen is already awake" the girl looks younger than them but she talked like as if she's the mature one.

"How am I supposed to calm down!? our brother.. h-he.. he was bitten! and this!" he pointed at Glen.

"Why didn't you.. why aren't by his side that time!?"

"Delic! don't blame him, this happened because of Calen's own carelessness!"

Calen frowned, he can hear they shouting, arguing, but he felt like he doesn't have the strength to open his eyes. Calen tried his best to pull himself together, he can feel the surge of pain in his neck. what happen?

"ugh!" the three of them looked at Calen who's moaning from the pain he felt.

"Don't tell me our brother is being raped"

"Shut it Cadel!" Delic shout at his younger sister who's almost at crying.

"let's keep this from the three of us" Delic said, he can feel his head hurting from just what happening right now. Cadel Helped her 2nd brother to get up and give him water to drink.

"Brother, how are you? what can you feel? do your remember everything? do know me? can remember me? I'm your younger sister. did you see the person who did this to you? can you rember him" Delic mouth twitch hearing his younger sister calling Calen brother while she called him by his name.

Glen facepalm from Cadel asking non-stop. Cadel receive a smack on his head by Glen who is glaring at him.

"Can't you slow down?" Cadel roll her eyes at Glen.

"I'm just concern about my brother"

"Don't show that attitude on me, can't you see he just woke up and you'll fire those questions on him. do you think he can answer that when his mind is still confused?" Glen lecture the youngest.

"....." Calen, Delic.

An hour Later. Delic, Cadel, and Glen surrounded Calen who's eating peacefully. the three stared at him the whole time so his eating wasn't that peaceful either. Calen looked at them with innocent look that made the three took a deep sigh.

"Calen, earlier at school. you experience rut."Delic Explain.

"Your making it sound like it was his first time experiencing his rut" Glen said and took a bite on the apple he was holding. Delic glared at him.

"Can you remember something after or during your rut?" Cadel asked. Calen think about it, spoon still on his mouth. the three watched him while his lost in his thoughts, they just waited for him to answer.

"I saw..." the three was silent but waiting of what Calen would say.

"I think I saw a butt"

"...." the three.

"I can't remember" Calen said and looked down. Glen patted his shoulder.

"No need to rush" Cadel and Delic nod their heads in agreement.

"We will find that who ever dare to bite your neck" Cadel said with full of determination and immediately receive a glare from the two person beside her.

Calen was shocked that he let go of the spoon he was holding. he felt his neck hurting he immediately hold onto it.

"What's wrong?" Cadel asked and they become alert.

Calen heard a voice from his head saying "Don't forget" he scratched his neck that it start to bleed.

"Calen stopped!"

Calen shook his head, he's getting more and more anxious. a moment later Calen stopped as if someone is comforting him.

"You okay now?" Calen slightly nod his head.

"You should rest, Glen we will leave him to you" Cadel said and pulled Delic with her, she looked at Calen with worries. out of the three of them Calen was the kind at gentle one, he's also naive sometimes unlike her and Delic they always had a bad record for being Valiant.

"Don't worry, he'll be okay"

"You sure sound confident" she said to Delic but still can't help to worry.

"Of course, he's our brother after all" Delic said with a smile on his face, Cadel faintly smile and calm her self.

"Should we inform daddy about this?" Delic shook his head.

"Not now"

The next day Calen and Glen took a break from school. Calen reasons he was sick while Glen said he has important matter to do that is private and a family matter so the teachers let him. Glen actually stayed with Calen who is still... no who is feeling energetic but lazy to go to school. even though he's a kind child his not the type of student who always wanted to be on ranks.

"Eat" Glen said and place a chicken soup beside Calen's bed, Calen took it and said his thanks.

" I didn't expect Alpha could be in danger as well" Glen said feeling guilty.

Calen chuckle bitterly and said. "I'm just a normal alpha after all"

"Don't say that-" Glen wasn't able to finish his word after seeing the sad look on his best friend's face.

"Only Beta could live a normal life, that's what I thought even so normal alpha and dominant alpha's life are different"

Calen went to class as usual but the feeling of foreboding on his surroundings is still in him. it's been a week since that incidents happen.

"I'll take you home" Glen said but someone called out to him.Calen

"One of the teachers asked for your presence" Glen frowned before looking at him.

"It's fine, my place isn't that far" Calen said and smiled at him.

"Fine, call me if something happened" Calen nod his head and watch Glen walked away.

It's already at 5:30 pm, he still went to the library to return some books and search something for his essay. Calen lost his mood to study and decide to went home. everything is slowly getting darker and darker. Calen hurried himself afraid that he might encounter something and just by the thought of it someone already pulled him at his uniform's collar.
