Hello! Mr Mask

She has lived her life for the past twenty three years still wondering why her family detested her. Hatred from family made her to be a strong-willed woman, she hoped with so much patience with the believe that they would one day accept her as family but nothing ever changed. After being cheated and deceived by her boyfriend, Jesy decided to chase her dream of becoming an independent, strong and savvy woman. She joined the entertainment industry with the hopes of becoming one of the top actress and signed into the very top best company but she was suddenly married overnight. How? Getting married to him due to circumstances gave jesy the thought that her life would be peaceful and filled with rainbows. But that was only a wishful thinking because what she had never anticipated happened due to the unknown past of the masked CEO. °°°°°°°°°°° "Why do you always wear a black mask in public?" She asked out of mere curiosity, her hands were resting on the railings of the balcony as she looked at the stunning side profile of the man standing beside her. "The less you know is best for you, don't be greedy to know more than you already do." He turned and took a closer step towards her, almost pinning her lower back to the railings of the balcony, his hazel eyes assessed her fair face which had half of it covered with her dark silky hair that was dancing in different directions due to the wind. 'Greedy? Who's greedy? I just…….' But her thoughts were suddenly interrupted because she……..

Hated.

Jesy was still not clear about what had happened, she was finding it hard to believe that she encountered something like this so early in the morning. One minute she was rocking her shoulders to the beat of a song and the next she was trying to negotiate with stranger man for a damaged car, who knew her morning would turn out to be like that.

She tried to stop thinking about it and concentrated on her driving in order not to cause another damage again, that wouldn't be a good thing at all.

Jesy drove to a shop that sold clothes, a shop with affordable prices, they sold their clothes cheaper and it was of good quality too.

She barely had money in her bank account, her father usually paid money into her bank account every month but it was small and like always, Lexi got the better treatment than herself.

She received thirty thousand every month but Lexi would receive fifty thousand every month and her parents would sometimes give her little money most of the times.

Her money could barely sustain her, with how inflation was on the rise, it was hard to survive with just thirty thousand per month, if it was the old Jesy, she would have felt bad and would want to cry but that wasn't so anymore, so what if they barely gave her pocket money? If she needed money, then she would have to work to make money and not rely on her parents that never wanted anything to do with her in the first place. She didn't want to look like a leech.

Jesy entered the shop and bought a good number of clothes but she didn't buy much, just a few number of pants, tops, skirts and gowns. They only cost almost a tens of thousands and that was already half of her money because she already spent a few on some certain essentials.

She left the shop and entered her car with her small shopping bag but just as she was about to start her car, a call came in, her phone was viberating before it started ringing out, she picked her phone and saw it was her father calling. If it was the old Jesy, she would have flinched and her heart would have summersaulted a million times but that wasn't the case anymore.

Jesy no longer cared about what they thought or did, so long as they didn't cross her path, then she had no problems with it. She rolled her eyes skywardly and picked the call but before she could even exchange a reasonable greetings, a loud and angry voice rang out through her phone, almost popping her ear drums, it was no doubt her father, he must be so angry after finding out what she did to his precious daughter.

"You unfilial child! How dare you hurt your sister! You ungrateful bi*tch! You have no shame at all, you dare to cause harm to your sister! I want to see you in this hospital NOW!"

And the call went off, Jesy could not help with the smirk that escaped her mouth, her family was indeed dramatic, how come she never realized on time? This was usually what she faced in the past whenever she did something to Lexi against their will, and she would have already been scared by now but that was then, not anymore.

With her mobile phone, she used a GPS locator to find the address her father was currently in, it took a bit of time before she successfully tracked his location, they were in a hospital downtown.

Jesy turned on the engine of her car to life and drove to the hospital, it took just almost thirty minutes to arrive, the hospital wasn't looking luxurious but it wasn't looking wretched either. A middle class family could afford to get treated here.

After making enquiries from the receptionist, she was directed to the room Lexi was admitted into, she arrived before the door and stood there without making a move. Seconds ticked by, and finally, she pushed the door open.

Lexi was lying in the embrace of Mrs Anthony, a sniffing sound was heard, Lexi was crying and beside the bed stood Lydia with a glass cup of water on the tray she held. Her father stood before the hospital window and only his back was in view. With the door suddenly being swung open, all heads turned to see who stood by the door.

Jesy stood by the door, her face was blank and it only reminded Lexi and Lydia about her inhumane attitude last night. Jesy looked Lexi straight in the eyes and Lexi immediately looked away, Jesy's stare was scary.

Her parents looked at her with disgust and anger and the question she had been asking herself since a very long time came back to her head again as it always does whenever a scenario like this would happen.

"Why am I being so hated?"

It kept ringing and singing continuously and Jesy was trying as hard as she could to push it to the back of her head but it was way too stubborn, it kept coming back and was singing in the same melody that drove her to the brim of insanity but she was just so good at hiding her real feelings, she wasn't the best drama student for nothing.
