**Three Months Later**

The morning sun filtered through the curtains as Alexandra stirred awake, lulled by the harmonious songs of birds perched on her window sill. She smiled at the familiar warmth of her husband's hand resting on her stomach and turned to face him. Her lips brushed softly against his, and she noticed he was already awake, a mischievous gleam in his eyes.

"Good morning, Ivan," she whispered, though the name still felt strange on her tongue. His soft chuckle filled the room.

"You know I prefer Silverstein, much more regal," he teased, kissing her forehead while his fingers gently traced the length of her hair, which had now grown down to her shoulders. It had thickened, and its new length suited her perfectly—a preference they both shared.
