Silverstein led them to sit on Alexandra's bed. He sat facing her, enjoying the view as her face flushed a deep crimson. "I thought the groom was not meant to see the bride the day before the wedding?" He heard her squeak with her little voice.

"Mm, that's right. But I don't really care about the rule, my love."

*My love...* Alexandra bit her lip, her heart racing. He was dressed in his usual night robe, the fabric draping elegantly over his frame, revealing a tantalizing glimpse of his chest. "Do you want to sleep with me...?" She widened her eyes at how the sentence came out. She hadn't meant that, but it was too late. She saw his lips curl up, and heard him chuckle, a low, warm sound that sent shivers down her spine.
